Chapter 9 by Sojaxx

How does the battle go?

She-ra absolutely decimates the Horde forces

Bow was in a real bind. From every angle, he was surrounded by Horde soldiers, tanks, and robots. All he had was his trusty namesake, about eight or nine regular and trick arrows, and his equine friend. If this was going to be the end, at least he'd go down fighting. "It's been an honor serving beside you, Horsey."

All hope seemed lost until a stunning, dazzling light blinded everyone and disrupted the battle. With their visions blurred, they could only hear the heavy stomping of an approaching figure. Bow was the first to regain vision and witness the arrival of Adora. Except she wasn't her usual skinny self. She was She-ra. Joining the battle with the graceful gait of a goddess and hung like a horse. The Horde soldiers' helmets obscured their expression but considering they weren't aiming their weapons at her, they were just as astounded as Bow. Even the robots were stunned.

She made her way to the center of the field where she raised her sword and dug the blade into the earth. The ground rumbled, as did her stomach. Electricity coursed from the sword into and through the ground; short-circuiting the vehicles and robots. The ground upheaved beneath the invading forces and knocked to the ground by a thunderous eruption from Adora's ass. Bow was standing upwind on her and even he felt the shockwave her gas gave off before the stench reached his nose. As nauseating as the aroma was, Bow was too spellbound by his slovenly savior to cover his nose. Her golden locks and ruby skirt fluttered gracefully, though he wasn't sure if that was due to the wind or her flatulence.

Her attention shifted to one of the tanks still operating and swiveling its turret in their direction. Despite her bulky build, Adora dashed over to the tank, leaped high into he air, and swung her sword twice. The first swipe sliced off the tip of the tank's barrel and the second cut a pivotal power link. The tank driver abandoned his vehicle as smoke rose from the incision. The vehicle exploded as Adora landed gracefully and pivoted to smack a charging soldier with her flaccid dick. Knocking them a good twelve feet away. One of the robots raised a leg and thrust it down but Adora caught it with ease. Then, she gripped the mechanical menace and lobbed it like a ball destroying it upon impact.

Bow stood there awestruck watching in disbelief as Adora single-handedly fended off the invaders. Even when Glimmer arrived and confirmed what he already knew, it still seemed to good to be true. That there was finally someone powerful enough to drive the Horde back and give the Rebellion a fighting chance. Sure, she wasn't without flaws but dealing with her bad gas and nudity was worth it. The Horde soldiers did something he'd never seen them do: retreat.

After Adora transformed into She-ra, everything became a blur. It was like she was awake but someone else was in control of her body. She felt heavier and lighter, she moved faster and hit harder. She felt unstoppable.

But then she slowly came to and found herself standing alone while the Horde abandoned their totaled tanks and robots and fled. Her vision went fuzzy for a moment and she fell to her knees. All of her stamina disappeared along with her She-ra build. Adora was back to normal and clutching her sword's hilt for support. She should have been celebrating her victory but across the field through a curtain of smoke, Adora saw Catra staring horrified and backed away. Her childhood friend receded into the shadows and left her there on the lifeless ground.

"You did it!" Bow cheered, taking Adora by surprise and wrapping her in a hug. The two tumbled to the ground and rolled on their backs.

Adora was still sore but wasn't badly injured. "I did?"

"You saved us," affirmed Glimmer, joining the two of them. "You saved everyone."

As Bow stood up, Adora let her accomplishment sink. "Huh, I did it. I turned against the Horde." As soon as she said that, her words sank in and her pupils shrank. "I turned against the Horde! Why did I do that? I can't go back now! Where am I supposed to go?"

She grabbed Bow and was about to have a panic attack when Glimmer said, "It's okay. You're with us now." Glimmer offered Adora a hand. "So, come on, let's go home."

Sensing no irony or bitterness in Glimmer's tone, Adora smiled and accepted her help. She was pretty sure Bow muttered something about a best friend squad but didn't mention it. Her mind was still trying to process everything they just went through and the multitude of questions she still had. Adora doubted she would get any answers today, but as she walked off with Bow, Glimmer with the horse following them, Bow asked what everyone else was thinking. "Wait, whose horse was this?"

What happens next?
