Hermione stares in absolute shock and unconvincing bewilderment. "You're not Harry Potter. You are an unknown witch who has never gone here before. We haven't seen you in our class or Ginny's year. You are a liar, trying to mulch or capitalize on something."

Rose shook her head in determination. "No... No please listen. You guys are" Rose emphasized the word are, "my best friends. Nothing in this world compares to our friendship. Please you guys, you got to trust me."

Ron glances Rose over with a blank stare as he used to when Hermione help both of them with their potion schoolwork. Rose noticed Ron also scanning her body. Like how Ron and her previously gape at the Veela at the world cup and when they both needed to find dates for the Yule ball. Ron still looks like he could be persuaded to Rose truth with a simple butterbeer and a pumpkin pasty. Hermione however will take a lot of ascertaining and verifying herself.

"I don't believe you, you idiot **** eater or worse Harry Potter superfan," Hermione said.

"Okay. Here we go then. Hermione I once told you that you are the brightest witch of the age. Ron, you and I began our Hogwarts journey together. I'm not talking about when we met on the train. When your mother told me how to enter platform nine and three quarters. How Fred and George trick your mother into thinking each one was the other."

Ron appears to be won over by Rose's pleads and words. But Hermione just stares deadly curses at Rose. Hermione had an almost mother-like vice grip of protection on Rose's old life. Rose knows she must win her over or Ron will just follow her lead and never speak with Rose ever again.

"Hermione looks me in my mother-like eyes. Please it's me."

"No your not." Hermione draws her wand, pointing the end towards Rose's throat. "Now leave us alone or I will curse you to holy hell."
