Korra goes to Lin Beifong in the morning

After a dreamless sleep Korra woke up early in the morning. She yawns and looks around around the room groggily, confused at her surroundings before remembering she had rented a hotel room instead of heading all the way back to air temple island. Man, she was beat yesterday...

With a stretch, the Avatar leaps out of bed and onto her feet. judging from the view out of the window, it's looking like a good day. Korra grabs some money from her pocket and leaves it on a table before heading out the door and outside.

Now that she's on the street with a minute to think, she wonders what to do about the triple threats. Last night was out of the ordinary for them, and while it could be nothing... She doesn't want to take that chance.

"I'll let Lin know, this is probably her territory..." She thinks before switching directions and heading off toward the police station.

A little while later Korra heads inside the the station and asks to speak with Lin. The man at the front desk obliges her and leads her to a room in the back. Korra opens the door and sees Lin sitting at a desk doing paperwork. She glances up for a moment with a slightly uninterested look on her face. "What is it? I'm incredibly busy..."

Ever since they captured Zaheer and the his group again. Lin had begun to focus even more on her work here in republic city, almost like all the progress she had made with her sister in Zaofu had vanished. Almost like their making up with eachother was cut short due to Zaheer trying to attack too early, resulting in his immediate capture.

"Don't worry, I'll just be here for a second. Just wanted to let you know about something going on in your city." Korra waited a moment after speaking to let the interest peak in Lin.

"Well? Get on with it." Got her.

Korra goes on to tell Lin the events of yesterday. Throughout the story, the chief of police stops her work and begins listening more inently. This did seem like something worth checking out afterall. "Alright, thanks Korra. I'll deal with it." Is all she says after her obvious fixation on the story. That doesn't really bother Korra though, she's used to Lin acting like this.

Well, now that that's done, Korra heads outside station and decides what to do for the rest of the day, dealing with that was all she had planned...
