Reality warping: your boyfriend thinks he's really your mom (Girlfriend POV)

You turned and looked at your changed boyfriend who was holding his head for a moment and a bit of a concern came over you. "Babe?"

He shook his head for a moment before he turned and looked at you with a smile, a smile you've often seen on your real mom's face as she both tried to be brave in front of you while comforting at the same time. "Sorry, sweetie...I just felt a little dizzy." He shook his head for a moment before turning and looking at his reflection in the mirror. "Oh..."

"Yeah, look, I'm sorry that..."

Your boyfriend shook his head as he continued to look at his reflection in the mirror. "No, don't be sorry. I'm sorry that I haven't spent a lot of time with you recently. I know it's been hard, with your breakup. Besides, that's why we're here today, right?" He smiled as he finished adjusting the straps to the bikini top and then turned to look at you. "We'll just have a girls' day today, without your father or your brother. Just us girls, okay?"

You blinked at that, at how quickly he had seemed to adjust to being your mom, but there was something that he had said about breaking up...did that mean? "Sweetie?"

You shook your head. "Sorry, just trying to think where we should hit first...the pool or the lounge? We haven't eaten yet."

"How about lunch first? We can lay down and tan while we let our stomachs rest?"

You nodded and after your changed boyfriend walked into the room to get something, you slipped out your phone and looked at the pictures, contact lists, and then the text messages. Sure enough, any and all traces of your boyfriend being...well...your boyfriend were gone. There were pictures of another guy, one that you would never really dated beforehand, but you could tell the breakup wasn't from you, as the texts from the guy seemed to be rather pathetic and ****. But then, you turned to your pictures and, sure enough, there was your family shots. Instead of just having your original mom, though, you now had your boyfriend replacing her as your mom. Another surprise, though, was what happened to your real mom...
