Chapter 75

What's next?

Another Quest

A/N: here begins another interactive section of the story. Ella is going to send Isaac on a knowledge quest. He must answer three questions about things that she is interested in. He will not be allowed to cheat and use Google to come up with the answers. I want to challenge you as readers to follow those same rules, at least on the first pass through the story. Use only your knowledge of the questions with no cheating to see what your result would have been in this particular quest. Then you can go back afterwards and see what the other results might have been. Ultimately I expect this to spawn 4 new branches that I hope to pull back together sometime after prom, including one branch that let's the reader pick an even darker Ella. I hope you enjoy getting to actually play the game, even if it is just a little.

I awoke on Saturday morning feeling quite refreshed. When I got up to head into the bathroom to start getting ready for the day, I noticed there was an envelope with my name on it slipped under the door into my bedroom.

Emma seemed to love sneaking into the house when I was still asleep. I told her where we kept a spare key hidden. She really seemed to enjoy using it to surprise me in some way or another.

I opened the envelope and found a note inside of it.

Isaac,

I talked to you already about the conflict between Ella and I. There were two questions we needed to resolve. The first was whether or not you have to wait until after prom, and Owen, before the two of us finally make love (Ella still says she never intends to fuck you). The second was whether or not all of your D&D friends would get me before you do.

Since you showed us the thrill of letting a contest resolve these internal conflicts, I’ve decided on a little game to answer both of those questions. I call the game ‘Three Saturdays, Three Contests, and Three Friends.’

The first Saturday is today, the second Saturday is next week, and the final Saturday is two weeks from today which, as you know, is prom night.

The first contest is already completed. It was poker night. In that contest it was decided that Owen, the first of the three friends, would get me on prom night, the third of the three Saturdays.

So that leaves just two friends, Trent and Ben, with two contests, over the next two Saturdays. I am going to start with your incentive. Win both of the two contests, today and next Saturday, and I will be yours, as many times as you like right up until the Saturday of prom, which already belongs to Owen. You will also prevent two of your friends from getting a shot at me before you do.

Win only one of the two contests, and you'll have to wait until after prom night, but at least you’ll have prevented one of your friends from having me before you do.

Of course, lose both this Saturday and next, and all four of your D&D friends will have fucked me before you and I finally make love.

So, let the games begin. I have asked Trent to meet me today. I want to apologize to him for what happened that last night of our D&D group, and ask him if he would be willing to join our new D&D group when we start back up.

Ella, on the other hand, wants to seduce him. Trent is a handsome guy. Ridiculously shy, of course, but also quite good looking. Ella loves the challenge of seducing someone that shy, and she really wants to see if his body looks as good as the rest of him. She also wants to find out what he is packing, if you know what I mean. A shy, good looking guy, likely an innocent virgin, hopefully with a nice cock? Ella can hardly contain her excitement over that possibility.

When I show up to meet Trent, I will be wearing a fairly short skirt and no panties. You can imagine what meeting Trent with no panties will do to Ella. He will be like a lamb going to the slaughter, except I’m quite sure he will enjoy it more than a slaughter, of course.

The contest today is a knowledge quest. You’ll need to answer three general trivia questions that all relate to something I loved growing up. Get the three questions right and you’ll know the time and place of our meeting and will have my panties to keep Ella at bay. Trent will just get an apology and an invite to come back to D&D. Get any of them wrong, and Ella will get the prize she’s been thinking about for a while now. It’s all up to you, Isaac. Can you keep Trent from fucking me (well ... Ella), or not?

It seems appropriate that a knowledge quest begin at the library. You will meet Mike in the parking lot of the library at precisely 4:00 this afternoon. He will get you started on this little quest of yours. Good luck!

Emma/Ella

Oh my!

I had almost forgotten about Emma telling me that Ella really wanted to go through with the threat of sleeping with all my friends before allowing me to have sex with Emma. I had sort of assumed it was just something she had said to tease me. I guess it ran deeper than that.

I sat and wondered if Trent would really have sex with her. He was really, really shy and almost eerily quiet. But I couldn't imagine that he didn't think Emma was hot. Everyone thought Emma was hot. She was also really good at imposing her will on people. I figured there was little chance that Trent stood to escape whatever fate Ella had prepared for him. He was going to get steamrolled, whether he really wanted to or not.

I picked up my phone and texted Emma.

Me: I got your note.

She ghosted me.

For the whole day.

I texted her again a couple of hours later, after I had finished my chores around the house that I had been assigned, and gotten ready for the day.

Me: Ummmm ... hello?

And I still got no response. I knew better than to push too hard. I thought about trying to call her, but decided against it. I knew she was ignoring me on purpose. She wanted me to focus on this quest and nothing else. I didn't want her to get pissed at me for pestering her when it was obvious she was letting me stew on this quest she had assigned. That surely wouldn't end well.

I was distracted for the rest of the day, nervously anticipating my meet up with Mike at 4:00.

I found myself in the parking lot of the library 20 minutes early, eager to start this process, wondering how it was that time had slowed down so much that Saturday afternoon.

To make matters worse, Mike showed up almost 5 minutes late. Normally 5 minutes late isn't that big of a deal, but in the state of mind I was in those 5 minutes felt almost like an eternity.

"Thanks for being right on time," I said to him, sarcastically.

He glanced at his phone.

"I am right on time," he said to me.

"It's 4:05," I said, trying to keep the annoyance out of my voice, but not really succeeding.

"Yes, it is. That's when Emma told me to show up. 4:05. She was very specific about that."

Damn.

She had done that to me on purpose, just to make me even more agitated.

"So, what is this all about?" Mike asked me.

I didn't really want to tell him, so I intentionally kept my answer vague.

"Emma loves to play these little games sometimes," I said.

He looked at me as though expecting me to continue. I didn't. Eventually he just shrugged and held out his hand.

"Give me your phone," he said to me.

"What?" I asked.

"Your phone. Give it to me. She was also very specific about that. I am to keep your phone until you have answered all three questions. And, I am to make sure you don't have your iPad or computer in the car with you. She does not want you looking up any answers either before or after you answer the questions."

I hesitated a little bit, but eventually decided that all of this wasn't going to start until I did what Emma had directed me to do, so I handed him my phone. He opened my car door and popped the trunk.

"What the hell?" I asked.

"She insisted I be thorough," he said to me with a smile. "You know how Emma can be, right?"

I did know how Emma could be. I just nodded my agreement.

The trunk was empty, but I did have a backpack in the front seat of the car. He took it out and looked through it, discovering it only contained books and notebooks for school, and no electronic device capable of hooking up to the internet.

"Okay then," he eventually said, "we are ready to begin. She told me to tell you that these questions all relate to something she loved growing up. She wants to see if you know anything at all about the things she finds entertaining. I know nothing about any of this except that I am to ask a question and let you pick one of two envelopes, depending on your answer. I will be told where and when to give your phone back to you. The envelope will contain your next instructions."

I nodded my head at him.

"Let's start with the first question then," I said, trying to act confident, when in reality I wasn't.

"Okay, here goes," Mike said. "Who won her first Tony award in 2002 for her lead role in Thoroughly Modern Millie?"

This was not the question I was expecting, although I guess I wasn't sure exactly what I was expecting. Had I known that Emma likes Broadway musicals? I guess the subject had never really come up. I felt a pang of guilt inside as I realized I hadn't actually spent that much time learning about the things that she liked. Perhaps this quest would have been easier if I had. Perhaps that was the exact point she was trying to make with me?

"The good news," Mike went on, "is that you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right."

He held out two envelopes in front of me. On the front of each envelope was written a single name. The one on the left said Vanessa Williams. The one on the right said Sutton Foster.

It was time to make my first choice.

Who won her 1st Tony award in 2002 for her lead role in Thoroughly Modern Millie?
