Fighting the Meinshao

The Meinshao was approaching Rachael and Neku as the two were being pushed against the wall. Before the fighting type can do anything to them, the Meinshao suddenly let out a hiss in pain. Rachael looked and saw the Croconaw had bitten his leg. From the mist forming from Vargus's mouth, the water type attacked him with Ice Fang. The fighting type was struggling to get the Croconaw to let him go while he was holding tightly on him.

Eventually, the Meinshao eventually kicked the water type off of him. Vargus rolled on the ground a moment before rolling back on his hind paws.

"Are you two okay?" Vargus asked, seeing the Meinshao shaking his leg where Vargus bit.

"The Meinshao isn't giving us much chance to fight back!" Rachael stated, staring at the infected fighting type. "It's taking everything we have just to avoid his attacks!"

"Doesn't help the fact that it's a fighting type and it's already very strong!" Neku added just as he saw the Meinshao lunging towards him. He barely moved out of the way when the fighting type swung his fist so fast, his eyes were barely able to see it. The fist collided with the stone, leaving it within the stone due to his strength. When he retracted his fist, it left an imprint of where it was previously set. Stone fell off from around his hand and the crushed. 'Better not take a direct hit from him.' Neku thought leaping away, attacking with Swift as he threw stars toward the infected. The fighting type growled in annoyance as he took the blows.

Rachael sweated as she saw the Meinshao turned his gaze towards her. With a snarl akin to an wild animal, the Meinshao broke into a sprint, charging towards her. She started bouncing a bit before bouncing high into the air, avoiding his kick. ‘I got to exploit his weaknesses to flying type attacks. It’s my best chance!’ She thought landing on his head.

The Meinshao yowled in pain from the impact. Despite this, he lifted his head up, keeping Rachael from knocking him down. He quickly raises her head up, throwing the Buneary off balance. Luckily, the Meinshao wasn't capable of recovering enough for a fighting type attack, though he was capable of swishing his sleeve arm against her face, knocking her away. Rachael hit the ground with a roll, but she got back up still able to fight.

Vargus tries to stand in between the two, trying to make himself the target for the fighting type instead of them, but it's clear that the Meinshao has no interest with the Croconaw as he looked towards the Dark and Normal types respectively. It's clear he's gonna focus on taking out the ones he can beat easily, and they can't just keep dodging their attacks and getting quick shots. Just as he was thinking, Vargus saw the Meinshao bringing his palms together as an orb of his white aura forming.

Vargus was preparing to warn them before the orb was propelled forward, just barely missing him as it was aimed at Neku. The Zoroark winced just as Rachael leapt forward, getting in between as a green barrier surrounded them, the aura sphere hitting the barrier hard, making it ripple, but held firm. The Buneary gritted her teeth as she does her best to keep the barrier up until the sphere subsides. She landed on her hind paws, looking a bit shaken.

'We need to focus on something fast! I can screech at him to lower his guard... but then what?! A fierce offence, or should we plan defensive to weaken and soften him up first!' Vargus stares at the Meinshao preparing to lunge towards the Buneary as he cries out, "We got to..."

Hit him hard and fast!

Wear him down, soften him up!
