Grease and Feathers

"First, we're going to need lots of grease and feathers," the captain said, pointing to several of his men, "You go retrieve them from the local kitchens and poultry sellers. The rest of us will secure the prisoners in the village square and gather a crowd."

The selected soldiers bowed in acknowledgement of the orders and walked off, while the rest grabbed the girls and started dragging them towards the middle of the village. The girls tried to resist, but with their asses so sore they were nearly bleeding, they could barely stand up, let alone fight. As such, they soon found themselves in the square, a crowd of villagers milling about; despite their pain, the girls still managed to find the time to blush in humiliation as every eye turned to look at them in surprise.

"These will do well enough. Tie them up," the captain ordered as they approached a group of standing poles in the middle of the square. Each of the girls was dragged to a pole and shoved back first to them, hands pulled behind and then tied together with rope, restraining them.

"Attention!" the captain called out to the watching crowd, "These four criminals before you have dared to betray the Fire Nation's glorious purpose by allying with the Avatar! By order of Princess Azula, they are to be publicly humiliated and tormented, and you shall all bear witness to what happens to those who stand against our might!"

Azula was tempted to once again declare that she was the princess, but she already knew that they wouldn't believe her. Besides, she didn't want to let all these Earth Kingdom peasants know they were getting an eyeful of naked royalty.

So instead, she focused on discretely conjuring flames in her hands to burn through the ropes so she could escape, at which point she'd kill literally everyone here and then find some clothes. And she had to do it fast, before-

"We retrieved what you've asked for, captain," a soldier announced as the group that had been sent away arrived, carrying buckets of cooking grease and feathers.

"Excellent. Apply it," the captain ordered. The soldiers nodded and walked over to the girls, who squirmed frantically as they realized what was about to happen, Azula especially.

"Wait, wait!" she begged, only for the buckets of grease to be dumped over her and the others. In her case, she immediately doused the flames in her hands before they could ignite the grease. Her situation was bad enough without setting herself on fire - Zuko could have all the burn scars in the family, thank you very much.

As the girls spat the grease out of their mouths and tried to blink it out of their eyes, the soldiers dumped the buckets of feathers on them as well, the grease causing them to stick to the girls' bodies. Before long, they were covered in feathers that had somehow managed to avoid covering their breasts or other private parts, leaving those exposed while otherwise making them looking like giant ostrich-chickens.

While the crowd reluctantly laughed at the girls' situation, the captain checked his instructions again.
