Where DO they sleep?

In bed - Seperate

"In bed. It's large enough for both of our needs." Raven said as she moved off to the bed room, waving for him to follow. Cole tugged at the collar of his shirt unsure about this. Still he followed as he didn't have a better idea and heck if she was offering. Well... maybe this wouldn't go so bad.

Once inside the bedroom, Raven gave a long stretch, arms over head head and her back curved just right to give a good show of her backside. Cole had to look away to make sure Raven wouldn't kill him. He still didn't know how to take this considering how she was this morning and how she acted during the day. Was this just another trick or something else? Did she really mean to sleep in the bed with him?

"I'm getting changed. Don't peek. I suggest you put on something..., suitable, for going to bed with a partner." Raven said with a completely even tone as she maybe put a little more sway in her steps. She closed the closet/dressing room folding door with a click rather than a slam this time as Cole was left alone with his thoughts. The poor guy pacing around in place as he tried to process this.

"Wait is she really going to..., No... but maybe? She's been far more open than I would expect but not ... forward? Or at least forward in other ways like the questions she'd asked." Cole thought as he paced back and forth with his chin cupped. "Am I over thinking things? How can I not..., this is nuts. Wait wait wait, Raven said she wouldn't be an 'easy girl' but... she did just say to wear something for sleeping with a partner. Hold on does that mean she's willing to... hol up what's she gonna wear?" The image of Raven in that skimpy lingerie with garters drifted into his mind.

The slam of the closet door shook him out of his thoughts, timed just right it seemed to catch him with his back turned. "Cole, you're not changed yet. Oh right, your dresser is back in the office." Raven's voice came, and with a brief appearance of her portal, Cole's dresser dropped next to him with a light 'thunk' that caught him off guard. "So... how do I look?" the hero asked, her tone a little harder that made her intent clear. Cole gulped and slowly turned to see what kind of fate was going to happen to him.

Rather than the tight, figure enhancing piece she had worn when they first woke up, Raven's choice was far more plain. A set of Dark pink flannel pajamas, with little images of the horses from that movie on it. Conservative and covering; save for the fact the buttons seemed to be fighting a losing battle against her new chest, so she had a noticeable cleavage even still in them. Cole breathed out a sigh of relief, and disappointment, as Raven adjusted her outfit.

"Little tighter but still... the most workable thing I have." Raven said through closed eyes and a sigh of her own before giving him a look with those violet eyes open. She tapped her foot lightly and folded her arms over each other. "You aren't going to be like that are you?" She asked.

"No.. wait... COUGH, okay." Cole said, trying to get the worlds stuck in his throat out, "No I'll change into something more comfy. Think Ma sent me a pair of flannel PJs when she got me the pillows and blanket. Have to dig that out and hope they fit with the... adjustments I've gone through today. Lemme just..." Cole quickly scrambled to find the clothes in question before beating a hasty retreat to the bath room.

Only once the door was securely closed did Raven let out a small chuckle and a smile cross her lips. Maybe it was a mix of Lust and Mischievous sides but he was fun to pull that on. "Just a bit." She thought as she moved over to the bed and started moving things around, "I don't want to drive him over the edge to the point he hates me."

The doorknob turned and so did Raven to see what Cole had picked out. He was wearing his own flannel pj's, in a deep blue color. A little tight around the waist but should stretch out enough after a night or two. Raven just gave an approving nod, as she turned towards the bed.

"Coming?" she asked.

Cole didn’t know what to expect. Or should have expected. Giant wall of dark energy across the middle of the bed wasn’t what he expected though.

In a make shift, magic fueled way, Raven has made a central divider to split the pair up. Guess it was better than trying to sleep on the couch. Maybe. Least he still had his bedding from his family on his side. Cole just lay awake thinking as his mind replayed the days events. "Wonder If Raven is still awake", he thought. She wasn’t really making noise but the wall could be behind that. Cole brought a hand up and tapped on the wall. "Raven you still up?"

A small door materialized and with a clack slide open, revealing Raven sitting somewhat upright, book in her hands. “Yes?” the woman asked as she gave him a side glance.

“Look I just… wanna thank you. For everything.” Cole said, not bothering to change his one posture, “I mean you probably had every reason and maybe a few rights to just punt me out of the house. But you just decided to put up with me. Heck you kinda **** me to admit to my fear when you really didn't have a reason to."

"Yes well..." Raven put her book down and turned to give him her full attention, "Ignoring everything Cupid's Wish has done to **** us together, including a life bond; what sort of hero would I be if I just left a man out in the cold of a new world he's not equipped to live in." Raven's mind flashed to an image of the other Titan's disapproving looks if she just ditched Cole.

"Fair but..., you didn't have to." Cole said as he pushed himself up a bit with an elbow, "Yeah you're a hero but..., I dunno. Hard to put into words. You should have had a choice, I mean we both had but..."

"Are you trying to say I'm worth more because of who I am?" Raven asked, her eyes focused down on him.

"...Okay now that you put it like that..." Cole muttered as he sighed as he rubbed he back of his neck, "Maybe? I mean you being **** into this causes more problems for you, your friends and your world..., who's going to..."

"I'm sorry but I'm not going to be the one that makes your mother cry." Raven said as she folded her arms, "Given the few bits I've gleamed from you over the day, your family does care about you greatly. I might be 'more important', but I'm not going to be the one to find her and say 'Oh I had to pick between myself and your son, I'm so sorry' and if you ever think to put me into that..."

"Okay okay okay!" Cole held up his hands close to him, "Just..., I know it couldn't have been easy to put up with me and everything else today. I'm just..., I dunno, glad I ended up with you..., not in that way I mean!"

"..., You aren't bad yourself. Maybe you sell yourself a bit too short." Raven said, her look softening just a bit, "You seem far better at handling people that I am, and you do have a, would inviting personality be the right word for it?" she paused as she brought her hand to her chin for just a second, before having it trail off to the side with a wave, "Regardless, when you aren't moody or worked up, you seem perfectly fine to get along with. Honestly I thought I would have to fight tooth and nail over things with you..., or have you stare at my ass half the time."

"Ahehehe...," Cole looked away to hide his blush before something kicked back in his mind. Turning back to Raven, his eyes a little wide, he asked "Wait... what about the Life bond?"

"Ah yes." Raven sighed with a hand to her temple and her magic in her free hand. The papers appeared and she tapped at a certain line as she handed the sheets to Cole. He quickly read through and snapped his head back up to speak but Raven cut him off. "I have sensed some sort of connection between us. I just assumed it was do to the house needing either both of us to work, OR would only work for those connected in such a way. But yes the first rule about binding us for Life and ****." Raven leaned back onto her propped up pillows, letting out a long oh so defeated sigh.

"I have no means to truly test this, nor do I want to try." She said as she finally got the energy to speak again, "While the contract said some 'features' would only work when it's accepted, I have no desire to see if this Love Life bond actually works."

"Talk about a guarantee clause. 'We'll make sure you'll never have to worry about finding the one for you again..., cause you'll be dead' is one heck of lock huh?" Cole grumbled as he handed the papers back to Raven who magic'd them back to the office.

"Quite. It's why we're going to be using that training room tomorrow."

"..., come again?" Cole said, fully sitting up now to look at Raven. Her stern face had returned and those eyes had their intense look again. "Why? I mean...,"

Cole's words were cut off as Raven reached through the hole and grabbed him and pulled. Well not, HIM him but something OF him. Cole looked on in a dumbfounded state as Raven pulled his shadow away from him and held it up some some sort of teaching aid example. She even wiggled it a bit and rotated her hand to better show it off from other angles. Though it was hard to say how his shadow looked from the other angles.

"You have powers now." Raven calmly stated as she slowly put the shadow back where it was. The whole thing felt odd to him, like several fingers were tapping at the surface of Cole's skin. The sorceress continued, "IF this life bond is in effect, the last thing I want is for you to either get into trouble due to my own heroics or actions before we can break it. OR finding a way to off yourself with your untrained powers."

"So tomorrow, which we have off from opening the store, I'll help teach you how to improve your abilities along with showing you how to get a handle on your powers."

"I mean..., figuring out the powers is good but I dunno if I want to... pick up boxing again." Cole muttered, looking down and away from Raven, "What if I hur..."

His words caught in his thought as a hand cupped his cheek. His eyes snapped up look at Raven, who currently had the warmest look on her face he'd seen today.

"Cole. I know you're worried about losing it again. But you might need to make a choice so long as we're together; fight, or die. And while that's enough pressure on your plate by itself, understand that if you don't fight, you'll not be alone. I am..., trusting you to handle a bit of my safety for me. I'll not **** you into fights but I do hope you do the right thing should the time comes. Understand?" Raven said, her tone slow and even throughout it all.

"Yeha.... yeah." Cole answered, his words flubbed a bit. Raven smiled more and gave his cheek another pat before leaning back to her own side.

"Well then Cole McKay. Get some rest. Tomorrow's going to be another long day." Raven said as she pulled the book up to read. "I'll finish this chapter and turn in myself. Good night Cole."

"Good Night Raven."

Raven gave a nod and the little view port in the magic wall slowly closed back up, leaving him separated from her. Cole for his part just rolled over and tried to get comfortable. "Maybe this won't be so bad." he thought as sleep slowly claimed him. In some small part of his mind, he really hoped this wasn't going to some strange extended dream he'd wake up from.

For the first time in a good while, Cole finally got a very good night's sleep.

But how's the morning?
