Get ready to do your errands.

Unfortunately, all things must come to an end. The alarm woke you from your slumber, and it marked the end of your series of pleasant dreams. Groaning, you wanted to stay inside, but you knew that even though it was the weekend, you had a long day ahead of you, and you needed to finish your chores.

What greeted you from your phone was a notification from the MalO app - a text from MalO. Opening it, you find that it's a picture of your bedroom. It wasn't just any picture either. In it was a shot of MalO, barely illuminated and at a corner in your room, gazing over you and the bedroom door. It was very dark, and you thought it had to have been taken while you were sleeping since you could see your head on the bed, the rest of your body covered by a blanket. Below the picture was a simple combination of two emojis - a heart and a black furry arm flexing. If the picture didn't make it clear what MalO did last night, the follow-up response did. MalO seemed to have been slightly protective of you, even though he didn't need to do it, since your house was usually secure. Still, it warmed you to know that MalO wanted to watch over you last night, and you did feel more secure.

You didn't think that you could send a picture that could properly respond to that, so you simply sent a few emojis in response, hoping they conveyed your gratitude. After that, you had to get dressed and make your way outside. It was a misty morning, and the weather report seemed to say that it was possibly going to rain for most of the day. Good thing you had an umbrella, but for a moment, you thought about MalO, and hoped that he would be well in the rain. You didn't want him to possibly get sick, although now you had to wonder... Wasn't MalO anomalous? Would he even get bothered by the rain?

With that thought lingering, you make your way to your errands. In the corner of your eye, you can see that there seems to be a black figure, shifting to hide inside alleyways or hide behind structures. A small smile made its way to your face, and you felt less alone, knowing that MalO was there to accompany you on your boring errands. The black figure continued to pop up at the corner of your eye, always in an area where there were hardly any people, and continued to accompany you while you went around shopping, and doing chores that took place outside of your home.
