Shock gets the better of her
V, already shocked and dazed, froze at this brazen move by Mills. This random techie felt bold enough to do this to her!? Emboldened by her inaction and with long stewing contempt for V rising dangerously within him, Mills stood up and grabbed the counterintel agent's hips with both hands turning her to face him and shoving her back against the sink.
"Not so high and mighty now Miss V, are we?" He said venomously. V's brow knitted in fury, and as she opened her mouth to speak, Mills grabbed her throat with a hand and squeezed the life from her words. "I think it's actually time for you to listen rather than speak" he said edging his face closer to hers. "Maybe you could avoid trouble for yourself if you shut up for once."
