"Our Daughters"

“What’s going on with our daughters?” You ask. You know her daughter Paisley well. She’s Kelly’s age and you’ve watched her grow up next door.

“You don’t know?” She seems surprised. “Their principal hasn’t told you?” You’ve been working late and Kelly’s churchschool doesn’t have permission to contact what remains of Kelly’s mother or her new slut-brained step mother. Of course, they expelled ‘em right away and sent them to a PEC. But yesterday they found two other girls making out. Luckily luckily they stopped them before it could go any further. But… it was our girls.”

You’re stunned to hear this. You almost don’t believe it. Surely you’ve raised Kelly better than this. Paisley must be a horrible influence on her.

Susan shakes her head. “These perverted, un-American messages keep getting through. Something they’re seeing is encouraging this behavior.”

You feel a bit defensive. You’ve been working long hours lately and haven’t been that attentive to what evil influences might be corrupting your daughter. “Look, I’m doing my best. Aren’t you monitoring what Paisley is watching?” Even with the Patriotic censors at work, everyone should be monitoring what their kids (especially their daughters) are watching.

“Relax,” Susan says, taking a sip of her beer. “I’m not trying to blame you. I came over because I have an idea how to fix this. I was listening to (Patriotic web video host) Andrew Power the other day and he said that we can’t trust anyone but ourselves to teach our daughters how to be women. And he’s right. It’s only a matter of time before the freaks get to them. So we gotta get to them first.”

You try to process exactly what she means. You sip your beer. “What are you saying exactly?”

“I want you to show my daughter how to be a woman. As soon as possible. Then when Jim gets back from his business trip, he’ll take your daughter. Fathers all over the country are doing it now. Helping to educate each other’s daughters. It’s the only way.” She repeats herself.

You feel like you need time to really consider this. But Susan is impatient.
