All Too Easy

The attack was swift and without flaw. The parademon’s orders had been to use non lethal methods to subdue the Amazons and their leaders. Having been caught off guard the vast majority of them were not even armed when the scale of the attack became clear. They were still a warrior race and put up a valiant effort but in the end no one could have stopped the parademons.

Now the Amazons, stripped of their armor and chained together, could only watch in silent horror as Queen Hippolyta was led up the walkway of the palace by the traitor Myrina and her bastard spawn. Darkseid stood at the top of the walkway observing and soaking in the fear he felt in the air. The Amazons had been defeated so utterly and yet spared from death at his minions hands that it shook them to their cores. Their fear only made Darkseid even more powerful and would make what he had planned next even easier then he originally predicted.
