To her mother's house

Lauren couldn't believe she was leaving the security and privacy of her home, to be taken to her mother's house butt naked! She felt so exposed, even slouched in the passenger seat of her mother's car. Why had her life changed? Three days ago she'd been on top of the world: hot, respected, moving up in the world. Now? Her job was hanging on by a friend, her whole housing complex had seen her naked and she had a freaking rash on her crotch! How had she fallen so far so fast?
