Lauren has a realization

Suddenly Lauren realized something. Despite how humiliating this was, there was a silver lining. She'd won! They'd all recognized her as a woman... that meant she'd won the bet! She'd beaten Vanessa!

So, a shaky grin appearing on her face, Lauren looked to Vanessa. She tried to ignore the laughter and jeering of the others.

"Vanessa... I won!" Lauren declared in a wavering voice. "I won the bet! That means I'm in charge now... right?!"
