On to the story: the first week

When Alan, Camilla, and Jacob Miller finally moved into their new home, they could all breathe a sigh of relief. They were finally free from worry about how crazy the world was becoming around them. Sure, it was awkward driving into the Greenville Oedipal Zone and seeing the open display of incestuous love by all the citizens of the city. Once they arrived in the refugee neighborhood though, they were finally safe. They could return to the normal way of life that seemed all but lost to them. In this neighborhood, things should be sane. The only worry left would be alleviated when Erica finally arrived, but that was still a few weeks off.

The first week in their new home was a busy one for them. Alan went straight to work on setting up his new business location in the neighborhood; hiring staff, making sure all needed inventory was well stocked, and even purchased local ad space on tv for the Greenville OZ metro area. He knew he needed to work quickly to establish himself in this new market as the top dog.

Camilla spent her time working hard to make sure that their new house felt like home. Without Alan's help, it took a long time to unbox everything they brought from their old home, as well as decorate the new place. At least she could rely on Jacob to be there to help out. By the time Friday came and everything was finally done, she was able to let off some stress with a long yoga session and a nice glass of wine or two that night.

Jacob had his plate full as well. He tried his best at his new school to make some new friends and get caught up with his new classes. He even managed to meet the swim teach coach and succeeded in his spot tryout for the team. Any other free time he had was spent alternating between helping his dad with the new business and his mom with the new house. He was looking forward to Spring Break the next week where he could finally relax.
