At The Shop

You needed to get to the shop early that day as you had a long list of things to get done.

You got up had a shower feeling dirty after your dream last night. Showered and changed you made your way to the local grocery store.

You had not lived long at your new house , the safe and friendly neighbourhood is what attracted you to it.

Everyone was so nice saying hello as they passed by and even stopping to have a chat sometimes.

You needed to be quick here you rushed around the shop , basket in hand grabbing what you needed you did not see the woman in front of you before it was to late.

Crashing into her hard she called out in surprise.

“Be careful there you nearly knocked me over.”

That voice you could not believe it this woman sounded exactly like one of the women from your dream last night.

How was that possible. You looked the woman up and down. To your knowledge you had never met this woman before.

“I am sorry I am in a hurry I did not see you there.” You replied a bit sheepishly.

“I bet you look tired. Rough night last night?”

Did this woman know somehow why would she bait me by saying that.

“I am Victoria from Number 11 I have seen you down my street have you just moved.”

You mumble back your name and something along the lines of just moving in a few months ago.

“That is great, strange question but are you busy later today I am having a gathering back at my place and it would be nice for you to meet some of the other.”

You were busy later , you had stuff to do . But why did you have such a strange a vivid dream about this woman (Or someone that sounded like this woman) breaking in and turning you into a Plaything.
