You get a morning call

You accidentally wake up at 7 AM again even though you were given the morning off. You curse yourself for not taking advantage of your time off with extra sleep time, but you are still a bit jazzed about last night’s events. You shower, dress, then check your messages.

You half expect Sabrina or Gemma to message you about last night but realize you never exchanged numbers. Maybe when you meet up again at work, they’d be willing to do that. You wonder if they’d be into doing more videos or even just hooking up on the side in the future. They seemed to enjoy themselves and you certainly had a good time. You only dread that this was a one time deal and all you will have is your memories… and your video files.

You grab some cereal and load up your home pc. The first thing you did when you got home was download the videos to make sure you had copies. Now you can enjoy the experience any time you like.

Your phone rings. The ID is from the Law Office. Your pupils dilate and your breathing stops as your mind racings a thousand miles a second. Did something go wrong with Mr. Furman’s files?! You remember everything being digitized, you didn’t miss anything. Gemma went through each physical document systematically, there’s no way she skipped any. You left the room in perfect order. At least, you believe all that happened. Your mind was distracted by the upcoming video shoot. It’s possible that, through your inattention, a mistake did occur without your realizing it…

With dread, you answer the phone. “Hello?”

Instead of Mr. Furman barking at you for how you’ve screwed up, it is Sabrina’s voice on the other line. “John?”

“Sabrina? What’s going on? What are you doing at work right now?” you ask.

“I was looking for you,” she replies.

“Furman told us we had the morning off, remember? We don’t have to come in until 1!”

“Oh. Right. Anyways, I have to ask you something… about last night's video…” Sabrina says.

You perk up. “Oh? What about it?”

“You didn’t happen to have the rest of the video on you, did you?’ she asks in a probing manner.

Busted. Well, not exactly. You try to evade. “What… what makes you think that?” you reply.

There is a pause on the other line, then Sabrina says, “Listen, I don’t mind you keeping a little something for yourself, I was just wondering if I could get a copy too…”

“I gave you all the files on your phone, they’re all in the same folder,” you reply.

“Yeah… I was stupid… I kind of deleted them, then decided I wanted to keep them after all,” she explains.

“Well, we could always make a new video,” you reply with tongue in cheek. You figure Sabrina would get the joke, but she takes another moment of silence. “Sabrina? You still there? I didn’t mean…”

“We’re free until 1, right?” she says, cutting you off.

“Yeah…”

“I’ll come to you, give me your address.”

You are gobsmacked! It sounds like Sabrina hasn’t gotten enough after all. Even after the night you two just had, she’s ready for more! Not only that, she wants to do it for another video! Not only that, she wants to do it in your apartment! You pause and look around your unkempt living space. There’s dirty laundry littered about, old pizza boxes, discarded wrappers, and the carpet needs vacuuming… Do you really want her to come here?
