Create a plan

We were woken up early as usual the following morning and was instructed to clean up the cannons atop Wall Rose after they ate their breakfast. The others grumbled upon hearing their assigned tasks before joining up with their friends and complain about the menial labor they always receive from the higher ups. I was at a gloomy state as well until I met Mina and her beautiful smile brightened my morning.

"Good morning, Ralfe," Mina greeted cheerfully. "I hope you slept well."

"I, uh, did," I replied awkwardly while I cursed myself in my head. "I hope you did as well."

"I did," she replied with the same cheerful tone. "Well, I going to get some breakfast now. So, uh, see you later then." She returned to her group of friends, and I watched them all get in line with their trays while whispering to each other.

"Hey, Ralfe! Sit here!" Nack called as he patted the empty space beside him. He was sitting with the usual people from our friend group. "Franz, has some good news for you," he said giddily.

"O-kay, what is it?" I asked Franz.

"Well, I spoke to Hanna earlier this morning...," Franz began.

"Yes, spoke," Thomas teased.

"As I was saying," Franz continued. "I spoke to Hanna this morning and it seems like she spoke with Mina about you two as a couple."

"They what?" I asked with a bit of terror in my voice. "What did she say?"

"Well, rest assured that, according to Hanna, Mina really likes you," Franz answered. "But she did wonder why you didn't go any further."

Nack and Thomas both laughed out loud after hearing what Franz just said while I hunched over my food attempting to cover my beet red face. "You know what this means, right?" Nack said. "This means you gotta make a move."

"Yeah, return the favor," Thomas added.

Franz laughed along with the other two before saying, "Well, if you want, I can tell you a good spot to do it." The other two and I silenced immediately and listened intently to the next words that came out of his mouth. He let out a chuckle before leaning over to whisper to us. "This is a place Hanna and I usually go to whenever we needed some alone time. It's the room where the officers' provisions were kept. It's usually left unattended and barely anyone go there since it's forbidden to take anything from there unless you're an officer or commanded by an officer."

We spent the rest of our breakfast discussing a plan to get Mina and I alone. The others agreed to cover for me as I sneak away to the room where the officers' provisions were kept. Once I was there, I am to wait until Mina comes by after being told by the others to meet me here. Then, I shall lose my virginity and return the favor in the process.
