Dinner is served!

The dining table is not big enough sit all seven of you so it is mainly used as a buffet table for the dishes that Lisa, Sofía, and you made. The girls sit on the four dining table chairs and the couch while you take the armchair.

"Mmm, this delicious!" Jen moans after taking a bite of Sofía's dish. "What is this called?"

"Arroz con pollo -- Spanish chicken with rice," your Latina neighbor replies. "It's a traditional Cuban dish that combines the incredible flavors of lime juice, red pepper flakes, some garlic, bell peppers, onions, and diced tomatoes, with saffron and cumin to give the rice that golden hue."

"Huh," the blonde mumbles as she chews. "Maybe we should get you to cook for us instead of Mark."

"But who will make us dessert?" her girlfriend giggles to the laughter of everyone but Sofía and Christine, who do not understand the inside joke.

"You made two dishes, Lisa?" Christine asks, looking at the yellow mashy dish on the dining table.

"Yes, they're simple and easy to make," your Asian neighbour replies with a proud smile. "So that one is Cantonese cream corn fish fillet, which is crispy fillets covered with sweet creamed corn."

"Mmm, it's good!" Sara compliments.

"Thank you!" Lisa smiles. "And the other one is Cantonese chicken and vegetable stir-fry with green beans, red peppers, baby cornscallions, minced garlic, and grated ginger."

"You should cook for us too!" Jen blurts out after taking a bite of the stir-fry.

"I can make dessert too!" Lisa giggles, giving you a sly glance.

"And what did you make for us, Mark?" Christine asks with a smile at you.
