Cooking dinner.

The five of you squeeze into the small elevator with the groceries and it seem like the girls intentionally press against you during the short ride to the second floor. Lisa and Sofía stop at their apartment door with their groceries.

"We'll see you in a bit with your yummy dishes," you smile at your neighbors.

"Honey, I'm home!" Sara yells out after opening the door to the apartment.

"Hey!" Jen yells from her bedroom.

"She's 'working,'" Sara giggles while doing the air-quote with her fingers. "I guess Alice isn't home yet."

"Do you need help in the kitchen?" your coworker asks.

"Nah, it's okay," you smile at her. "Make yourself comfortable."

"Do you want some beer?" Sara asks her.

"Um, sure."

Your roommate opens the fridge and grabs two bottles of Corona, handing one to Christine. "Sit down and we can chat about Mark!" She gives you a wink and leads the blonde to the living room.

As you grab your phone to look up recipes for the two girls' dishes, you hope Sara does not mention about the "roommates with benefits" setup that the four of you have informally have agreed to. You were planning to make something more elaborate for your own dish but since you are now cooking three dishes -- tuna and avocado wraps, stuffed bell pepper boats, and oven-baked French bread pizzas -- you want to keep things simple and quick but still delicious for seven people.

"That smells good!" Alice chirps when she arrives home from work about twenty minutes after you started cooking.

"Thanks!" Sara giggles.

"I was talking about the food Mark is making," your brunette roommate sighs. "Oh hi, you're a new face! I'm Alice, Mark and Sara's roommate!"

"Hi! I'm Christine, Mark's coworker!" Christine replies, shaking Alice's hand. "Wow, Mark has two gorgeous roommates!"

"Three gorgeous roommates!" Jen corrects as she enters the living room wearing matching white lingerie, silk stockings, and high heels. She greets her girlfriend with a kiss. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I was busy streaming. I'm Jen."

"Hi, Jen," your coworker smiles. "You're a streamer? What game to do you play?"

"Adult games," Jen giggles.

"Oh!" Christine gasps, blushing beet red.

"Dinner's almost ready!" you interject before your blonde roommate may reveal that you were involved with one of her streams.

Then as if on cue, there is a knock on the door and Alice opens to reveal Sofía and Lisa with their homemade dishes.

"Oh, we have guests for dinner?" Jen smiles, glancing at you.

"Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention to you two that I invited our neighbors and my coworker over for a potluck dinner," you tell her.

"The more the merrier!" Alice cheers.

You wonder if she meant that as a double entendre given what often happens after dinner with the girls at your place.
