A relaxing evening

For the first while, the four of them simply swam around in the relative dark, enjoying the feeling of freedom that came with skinny dipping. There was conversation, of course, but most of the focus was on the swimming itself.

After a few minutes, though, Yang decided to take a break and hopped up on the edge of the pool, the coolness of the air and the tiles beneath her chilling her a bit. Very quickly, Blake came over and rested herself against the edge right next to Yang, her legs trailing behind her and kicking occasionally.

"I'm surprised you like swimming so much," Yang said with a teasing grin. "For a cat."

"My human half made an executive decision," Blake responded flatly, clearly following with the joke.

"I'm glad," Yang nodded. "This wouldn't have been as much fun without you."

"I could say the same of you," Blake said before hopping out of the pool and sitting next to her partner, their shoulders and legs mere inches apart. "I honestly expected you to stay home tonight."

"Well...I almost did," Yang admitted. "But I could tell this was really important to Ruby."

As she said this, Yang looked out to where Ruby and Weiss were taking turns splashing each other in the shallow end of the pool. Blake followed her gaze and smirked.

"She's lucky to have you. I can't imagine being made leader would've been so easy, had she not had someone who already trusted her."

Yang placed a hand on her chest, acting offended.

"Are you saying you would've given my baby sister a hard time?"

Blake chuckled, but then thought seriously about the question for a moment.

"Not intentionally," she said. "When we first got here, I had my doubts about her leadership given how young she was."

Yang tried to keep up the façade, but even she had to admit that was a fair point. With Ruby being a complete stranger, of course Blake would have some concerns.

"But now that I've gotten to know her, I realize Ozpin made the right choice."

"Aww, how sweet!" Ruby said, causing both Blake and Yang to jump. Neither of them had realized Ruby and Weiss had swam closer, treading water just a few feet in front of them. "You really think I'm a good leader?"

"I do, yes," Blake nodded. "While you're by no means conventional, I do think you're doing a good job."

Ruby smiled for a moment before climbing up to sit next to Blake, wrapping her arms around Blake's neck and pulling her close.

"Thank you," she said quietly. "That means a lot."

Blake hesitated for a moment before wrapping her own arms around Ruby's waist, appreciating the feeling of her leader's boobs against hers.
