Does she manage to lock the door?
Yes, but she’s not alone.
The key Chloe picked out slotted in perfectly and with a single twist, the door was locked. Chloe hopped back a bit still staring at the door. Suddenly, she hears the guy trying push the door open but, to no avail. Chloe had a sigh of relief.
Her attacker just wouldn’t quit, he began hitting the metal door with all his strength like a maniac. “Go away!” yelled Chloe. The guy wouldn’t listen as he continued hit the door.
“No!” he replied. “I must have it.”
“Forget it creep!”
Suddenly, Chloe hears a grunt behind her, quickly followed by a yawn. This takes Chloe’s attention away from the door as she turns around to see a figure in shadows. The person seems to be sitting on a chair at the far end of the table next to the hanger.
“Who’s there?” Chloe asked.
The shadowy figure who was slouching back on the chair, sat upright and turned on a small lamp that was on the table.
