Continue through the town

You continue on through the town, looking around at the sheer emptiness. Houses have their doors wide open and cars are stuck in the street. You feel grateful that the roads are clear enough to drive through here.

The next few minutes are filled with silence, at least until you find yourself driving up to the town hall. "Hey, we needed a map right? I bet we'll find one there." Alexis says, not even glancing in anyone else's direction.

That is a good idea, and you haven't really seen any bimbos here. "Alright, let's stop here."

You drive up onto the sidewalk and position the car for an easy getaway. "Okay, this place hasn't seemed too dangerous, that bimbo we saw earlier seemed pretty **** so she may have been alone here. But just in case we do run into something, let's go in pairs, never go somewhere alone, for any reason."

You all pile out of the car and grab something to defend yourselves. Alexis decides she's had enough of the gun for now and hands it to you, she grabs her bat instead. While Cammie grabs a crowbar she grabbed from the gas station and Chloe takes out some pepper spray.

You look at everyone and wait as they discuss who to go with. You're expecting to end up with Chloe or Cammie, but immediately that thought is thrown out the window.

"Come on Kyle, let's go." Alexis says as she starts heading into the building.

"Hey wait! Are you sure that's the smartest idea?" You ask.

"What? They can handle themselves, this place is fucking empty."

Cammie catches your attention with a flex of her arm. "We got this, we don't need you two for this." Chloe is a bit more unsure but decides to go with Cammie anyway.

You turn back toward the other two as you're heading inside. "Meet back out here in 20 minutes."

You jog a bit to catch up with Alexis. "Hey! What was that about?" You ask.

She doesn't look your direction. "What, the groups? I'm not in the mood to go with the person that almost got us killed. And I'm definitely not going with that other prissy bitch."

You can't keep listening to this. "What's gotten into you? Everything was fine when we woke up, but ever since we talked about leaving you've been a real pain."

Alexis scoffs. "I've been a pain? What about Cammie? She let that bimbo into the damn car! And that girlfriend of yours hasn't done anything!" She starts raising her voice before catching herself and quieting down. "Whatever, I need to piss." She says before turning sharply away from you and into a nearby bathroom.

"So much for sticking together..." You continue on down the hall, making sure you can still see the bathroom.

Alexis walks into the bathroom and enters a stall. A few minutes later she opens the door with a slam. She heads to the sink and starts washing her hands. "Why is it so goddamn hot today..." She splashes some water on her face and looks at herself in the mirror, thinking back to what happened with the bimbo earlier.

"You're good, no way a little spit on your face got you infected." She tells herself. "You'd already be some dumb slut if it did..."

Alexis takes her weight off the sink and stands up straight. Checking herself for anything different, but she doesn't notice anything. "Right, I'm fine." she thinks before heading back out to the hall.
