John really didn't know how to broach the subject of "Can I blast you with something called a 'Bimbo Ray' in the name of curiosity?"

Thankfully, Alex saved him from this line of thought. "I suggested it, so we should test it on me." she said.

John was gobsmacked at that. What kind of girl ASKS for you to hit her with something that is designed to turn her into a bimbo?

Alex grabbed the gun and a notebook from her backpack and started writing some notes down. "I'm not saying to hit me at full power here John, I'm just saying that we need to understand this more. The average person has an IQ of 100, so someone would only need two to three hits at level 5 to turn them into a potato with tits, if this works as it says it does. Just hit me with level 1, and we'll see if there's any changes."

John finally found his voice and just let his mental train of curiosity go, "That's assuming that each blast is only a singular effect. For all we know, if someone gets hit with enough level 1s there could be some sort of cumulative effect that will still drain IQ and go up a cup size."

Alex looked up and smiled at him. "You're right. But, at level 1 it'll be hard to measure that since there's no listed change to the chest of the subject. Just some 'softness' added with a general 'feeling a bit better'. While that might be awesome for someone with depression, it doesn't give us much to actually measure, unlike the other levels."

John thought for a moment, "That's true. But, I don't want to risk either of our IQs quite yet. I know I'm playing a Barbarian in-game right now, but that's only there. We'll see what we can measure with just level 1, to see if it works at all, and do at most three blasts, to see if there's any other effects to constant exposure. If your breasts get bigger on the second blast, we'll call it a success and leave it at that."

Alex quirked an eyebrow at him, "What do you mean?"

John figured he might as well be upfront with one worry he had. "Well, how do we know that hitting someone with two level 1's is just that, two level 1's, and isn't the same as hitting someone with a level 2? I'd rather not be the one responsible for inadvertently turning one of the few girls I know who likes D&D into a drooling bimbo that can't read dice. Nerdy girls like you are rare enough as it is." She really was fun to play games with and John didn't want to risk losing a good friend.

Alex seemed to pause for a moment as she took his words in and smiled up at him with one of her rare honest smiles. "Thanks John. I didn't know you thought about me like that."

There was a pregnant pause as the two kinda just blushed for a few moments as John had no fucking idea what to say. Alex decided to take pity on him and figured they should get on with things. "Alright, let me just stand over here, and hit me with a level 1."
