The Temptation of Tegan Nox

"is somethin' on yer mind Tegan?" Becky asked.

Tegan glanced at her.

"no. I'm sorry. my knee hurts."

"ah. I know how those feel. had a few o' those myself."

Becky told her as she scrolled through her twitter feed on her phone.

Tegan didn't reply.

Kay Lee Ray had been discharged from the hospital and was staying safe while she waited on Becky and Tegan to be cleared.

the swelling in her neck was gone and the doctor felt she was recovered. though it was up to wwe management how soon she wrestled again,

he had advised them to let her take it easy before any hard matches.

Tegan's knee was nearly recovered, but Tegan was taking a lot of aspirin, more than was recommended.

not that Becky noticed, Tegan though unhappily.

"now look at that!" Becky complained.

on twitter Mandy had tweeted a pic of toxic attraction holding up their gold.

and the caption "the forever champions"

"now that right there is bait! there tryin' ta get me an' Kay Lee good an' angry so they can jump us!"

Tegan wasn't listening.

as she looked at the picture her eyes went to Jacy Jayne.

'has Becky even THANKED you?' Jacy had said to her when she came to Tegan's room.

"you're only here because of KAY LEE RAY."

Tegan shifted in her chair.

"are ye SURE somethin's not botherin' ya?" Becky asked, laying her phone on top of the covers.

Tegan slowly licked her lips.

"yeah. I'm SURE."

"Tegan, if somethin's botherin' ye I'm here for ya. I appreciate everythin' ye've done for me.

hell it's my fault your hurt."

"yah it kinda IS." Tegan said a little more tartly than she intended.

Becky looked hurt.

"Tegan, I'm sorry. I really am."

Tegan swallowed. "no, I'm sorry Becky. I didn't mean to sound so ungrateful."

"oh I understand." Becky told her.

"knee injuries are hard, and yer a strong woman ta have gone through it so much."

Becky licked her lips and sighed.

"I'm not sure I coulda' gone through a year long process rebuldin' that knee with multiple surgeries like ye had,"

"yeah." Tegan said quietly.

"Tegan are ye sure ye okay?" Becky asked one last time.

"Yeah." Tegan stood and leaned on her crutch.

"im going to head back to my motel room for a bit and get some food. I'll be back in a few hours."

"Ok. see ya." Becky said as Tegan hobbled out the door.

Tegan stopped by a burger place and returned to her motel room to eat.

she had just finished eating when there was a knock.

"just a minute!" Tegan called as she hobbled to the door.

she opened the door to see Jacy Jayne standing there.

"hey...I just wanted to see how you're feeling." Jacy said awkwardly.

Tegan gazed at her a moment.

"no you don't" Tegan said softly.

"you want the same thing I want."

Tegan Nox wrapped her arms around Jacy Jayne and kissed her hard on the lips.
