"Kenny. Kenny, hey, Kenny you have to wake up. Come on, wake up. Kenny!" Ellie roughly shook Kenny's body with her hands until finally his brown eyes peered open, "Oh thank god, you're awake," Kenny groggily sat up and looked around, he was on the couch, fully dressed, and the only one in the room seemed to be the blonde standing before him.

"Elle? Uh, what happened?" Ellie nervously chewed her lip and stepped away,

"You passed out at the gym and fell into me...I hit my head," Kenny grimaced, "Nicole took us back to my house. Either way I'm fine, and you seem fine, so that worked out, but I'm sorry you need to go right now," Kenny let out a confused hum, "Ken, your car has been parked in my driveway for hours. The gym closed ten minutes ago, Will should be coming by soon. If I'm not caught now then you being here..."

Kenny jumped up from the couch, "Oh shit, I didn't even think of that," As Kenny rushed to put his shoes on, Ellie's shoulders slumped. Even with her words directing, watching as Kenny snatched the keys off the top of the blonde's dresser still stung. Ellie didn't want him to go, but she didn't have a choice, "Sorry Elle, I hope this doesn't come back to bite you,"

"It's alright," Ellie sighed back, "You were trying to work hard and just got ahead of yourself. Nikki was trying to help too by bringing us her, it's no ones fault," Kenny gave the blonde a thankful smile which she wholeheartedly returned, "See you later?"

"Definitely," Kenny agreed.

Twenty minutes later Kenny was pulling into his driveway, to no surprise it looked like his parents were out yet again. From his understanding it sounded like they were considering having another kid now that he and Julie were grown, and from the increase in their "date" nights, it looked to be true. Kenny leaned back in his seat, a moment of clarity finally hitting him. At one point in time the only idea that was on his brain was finding a girl to settle down with and start a family. Now he was involved with three different girls at the same time and he couldn't say he was in a real relationship with any of them.

The strangest thing of all was how little that upset Kenny, he liked Ellie, Quinn, and Nicole and would love to date any one of them. Ellie was so sweet and romantic, Quinn was by far one of the most intense and hot girls he'd ever met, and Nicole was so much fun both in the bed and out. Yet it was pretty clear that none of them were ready to take a step forward, Ellie still had Will in her life, Quinn had her overprotective family and own guilt over their situation, and Nicole was never the monogamous type. Kenny shut his eyes and gave his head a shake, "Alright, alright, enough of that before I figure out a way to make myself depressed,"

Kenny climbed out of his car with a breathy chuckle under his breath. He walked up the drive way and into the house only to pause as he entered the living room. Surrounded at the television was Juliet, Quinn, and oddly enough Bella. Juliet looked over and broke into a wide smile, "Oh you're home, how was the gym today?"

Kenny flicked his eyes to both Quinn and Bella and then cleared his throat, "Fine, fine, did a lot more than usual today, I'm a little beat to be honest,"

"Well that's good, you're giving it your all!" Juliet said with swift encouragement, "I'm sorry I had to miss tonight, but I'm glad you're sticking to it even on your own,"

"You are looking more...defined Kenny," Quinn added as nonchalantly as she could,

"Thanks Quinn," Kenny casually nodded back, trying to play things equally casual, "So what are you three doing for the night?"

"You're looking at it," Quinn laughed as she leaned back on the couch, "Horror movies, popcorn, and gossip, a nice Friday night. Right Bell?" Quinn nudged her older sister with her arm,

"I suppose so, I'm just used to way more...active nights when I'm hanging out with Rachel and Kailyn," Bella murmured back, no so much as glancing up from her phone.

"Bella, you've met Kenny before, right?" The older redhead hummed out a yes, "Aren't you at least going to say hello?"

Bella lowered her phone and looked over to Juliet who stared back expectantly, "Right..." Bella looked over to Kenny and gave a halfhearted raise of her hand, "Hello Kenny,"

Kenny slightly narrowed his eyes, he had met Bella maybe twice in his life but she never seemed to be so cold, and he certainly hadn't done anything to slight her that he could think of. "Really, that's it?" Juliet sighed, sounding a touch offended,

"It's fine, Julie," Kenny waved off,

"Give her pass, she's grumpy because Rachel and Kailyn have been playing dynamic duo without her this last week," Bella rolled her eyes at Quinn's comment,

"Oh Julie, almost forgot, here," Bella reached over into her purse and tossed the brunette a small brown paper bag,

Julie caught it with fumbling hands and swiftly stuffed it under her leg, "T-Thanks!" Juliet cleared her throat and looked up at the television with pink cheeks, "Ken, you w-want to watch with us? It's a great movie so far!"

"Thanks but," Kenny raised a brow at his cousin's reaction, now all too curious what was in the bag, "Like I said I'm beat, so I'm gonna grab a shower and go to bed,"

"Okay, night!" Juliet instantly accepted, her lips rolled in and eyes glued to the screen. Her avoidance of looking at him painfully apparent.

Still, curiosity or not, Kenny knew he wasn't going to get any answers by asking now, nor did it even seem fair considering the secrets he was keeping from her. "Yeah, goodnight, good seeing you two," The teen easily said with a wave as he walked off, heading around the corner and up the hallway.

A few short minutes passed and while Juliet continued to watch the movie in embarrassment and Bella inattentively scrolled on her phone, Quinn felt a little tickle in her stomach. Her leg was ever so slightly bouncing as she attempted to control her internal urge. Unsurprisingly, it was a short lived battle, and Quinn got to her feet, "I'm just going to use the restroom real fast," Juliet hummed an okay while Bella curiously lifted an eye and followed Quinn until she was out of sight.

The red haired girl power walked up the hallway and without hesitation let herself into Kenny's bedroom. The teenager jumped upon Quinn's entry and brought a hand behind his back, "Quinn? What the hell are you doing? Bella and Julie are right out in the living room," Kenny immediately hissed but Quinn's eyes were locked on the hand behind his back,

"I wanted to sneak off to see you for a minute since it's been a little while..." Quinn trailed off and stepped closer to Kenny, "What are you hiding behind your back?"

"Nothing," Kenny diverted his gaze and looked down at the floor. Quinn narrowed her brow and roughly moved forward, in a short few second tussle, the redhead ripped a piece of paper from Kenny's hand and looked it over.

Quinn hissed out a growl and crumpled the note in her hand. Her eyes were shooting daggers into Kenny, and the teen could only sigh, "I didn't know she was going to leave a note in my pocket," He mumbled out, knowing well enough that lying would get him no where,

"You fucking saw her again? Ugh!" Quinn exclaimed in disgust,

"Quinn, don't start this shit with me again," Kenny warned, holding up a finger, "Not with your sister and Juliet just out in the living room,"

"I don't get it, what's the draw? You know you can do so much better!" Quinn shot back, beginning to pace, "I mean, Jesus Kenny, at least have a set of standards. Pick someone who would at least treat you right,"

"Nicole treats me just fine," Kenny leaned back and crossed his arms, "And my standards are perfectly acceptable, Nicole meets them all with flying colors. Stop being so jealous,"

"I am not fucking jealous!" Quinn jumped right into Kenny's face, her body now trembling in anger,

"Aren't you?" Kenny calmly retorted.

The pair stared at each other for a long minute, a silent battle of wills being fought with only their gaze until Quinn finally waved the white flag, "N-Not jealous...worried,"

"About?" Quinn stepped back, her body now relaxed and demeanor changed to nearly sheepish,

The redhead rubbed her upper arm and receded in, "Look, I know I'm not...easy to get along with. I can be loud and angry, it's a struggle to actually see me and we can't make plans to meet up because of...our situation, but..." Quinn let out a whine and squeezed her eyes shut, blushing hard,

Kenny's eyes looked up and down Quinn for a split second, "Wait," Kenny took two steps forward, "Do you think because I've had sex with Nicole that I'd suddenly lose all interest in you?" Quinn silently rolled her lower lip in and bit down on it, "Quinn, that's crazy, no way would I ever kick you to the side like that. You're amazingly beautiful, a little aggressive at times, yeah, but it's really fucking hot,"

Quinn's eyes peaked open and she looked up at Kenny, "You mean that?"

"Hell yes I mean that," Kenny chuckled, "I told you last time, I never had any regrets that we started messing around together, why would I throw all that away?"

"I don't know, I guess I'm not used to someone sticking around for too long. One way or the other, every guy always ends up moving on. Its always been that way...in your case I figured itd just happen faster,"

Kenny placed a hand comfortingly on Quinn's shoulder, "Not going to happen, you're stuck we me as long as you want,"

"You say that now..." Quinn jokingly said only to suck in a sharp breath as Kenny's free hand moved to her waist and pulled her in closer to him, "Don't...please, I have to go back to the girls and I'll be a mess,"

"Easy," Kenny murmured as he leaned down and gently pressed his lips to Quinn's. A low hum escaped through Quinn's nose and her arms immediately wrapped around Kenny. Kenny kept it short and tame, but for Quinn it felt like hours. It was her first real kiss, not one to be rushed, or in the heat of something, no just her lips against his for the sake of it. Quinn let out a whine as it ended, "Don't think so little of yourself, I'm still amazed I even had the chance,"

"Me too..." Quinn droned back without thinking. Kenny's brow jumped and he let out a proud, confident smile, "Wait no, that's not what I meant. Don't look at me like that!" The redhead gave Kenny a playful push back, "I did not mean it like that!"

"Uh-huh, don't you have a movie to go watch," Kenny moved to his dresser and grabbed a fresh set of clothes, "Better go before you get caught,"

"Ugh, I hate you so much," Quinn growled,

"Hate you too," Kenny teased as Quinn stomped out of the bedroom a bright, flustered mess.
