“Alright, let’s see what we have here. I’m going to have to learn about fashion as we go, because I’m not exactly an expert,” he said while he stepped up to her closet.

“If we’re lucky I’ll... I’ll uh...” Jessie had a small collection of bras hanging in her closet.

“You said everything,” she said, switching from playful Jessie back to shy Jessie.

“I don’t- well I mean it’d be best but I didn’t mean- ah hell. We don’t have to go full on professional about this, Jessie.”

“Yes we do. It’ll be sucky practice if we don’t.”

“There’s plenty of other stuff I need to practice before we get to all that. I don’t want you pushing yourself!”

“Trust me, I’m not going to push myself to do something I can’t handle when it involves me and my body. I’ve had enough of that.”

“Still this is...“ he started to say.

She reached her hand out and touched his cheek. “Something we’ll get used to. Now do your best, Mr. Photographer.”

“Something we’ll get used to.” The phrase made his heart sing. He finally has somebody to spend time with, and she just so happened to be a beautiful young woman willing to model for him if he treated her right.

“If you’re okay with me rummaging through your closet, I suppose I’ll try it.”

It didn’t take long to come to the conclusion that Jessie didn’t bother with variety. Sweaters, hoodies, jackets... anything that covered a lot of skin.

In the end, he went with a red knitted sweater and the only pair of jeans she owned. Her bra ended up not being a big deal, because aside from learning her size—34C!—there wasn’t anything embarrassing about looking at plain white bras.

“You need a shopping spree.”

“I never needed to spice things up, until you came back into my life.”

Corny, but he liked the implication.

“Variety is everything in the world of photography, Jessie my dear, but these will have to do. I’m worried that white bra is going to stand out too much through the knits of your sweater, but I guess we’ll see once you have it on.”

“Sorry I don’t have anything more exciting. I’ll probably be a pretty bland subject.”

“I have a feeling you’ll be able to make just about anything work, don’t you worry about that.”

“I’m not so sure that I’m up for wearing no panties though. Even if I do have jeans on.”

“Who said anything about- oh shit I forgot! You can definitely wear panties,” he said, laughing nervously. “Just pick out whatever’s comfortable.”

“I thought you were supposed to do that?”

“Unless you own a thong, panties aren’t going to matter too much with jeans. Panty lines might show through, but if they do we can just use your upper half for the photos.”

“I’m getting a little nervous about all this...” she sighed, and threw the clothes on her bed over her shoulder.

“Just say the word.”

“It’d be so lame to call it off now. First time jitters, that’s all.”

“If you say so.” He looked at the clock. 1am and they hadn’t even started yet. “You should probably start showering soon. We’re gonna be up all night at this rate.”

“I’m pretty quick. Give me 15 minutes and I’ll be scrubbed up and ready for anything!”

“I’ll be here,” he offered, and she went into her private bathroom to shower. She really needs to think about how she phrases things.
