Becky tries to make things right

Tegan Nox was watching ice road truckers on the weather channel when the door opened.

she glanced over and saw Becky walk in holding a vase of "lily of the valley" flowers and carrying a box of chocolate candies with a bow on it in her other hand.

Tegan try to hide her disdain

"Becky, you really shouldn't have."

Becky looked a little hurt.

"I'm SORRY Tegan. I don't know how to say it where you'll UNDERSTAND that I mean it."

Tegan sighed and let Becky place the gifts on her table.

"Becky I APPRECIATE you thinking of my feelings."

Becky sat in the chair beside the bed. "I'm SORRY Tegan." Becky repeated.

Tegan sighed.

"if you want to apologize. I accept. I'm still your friend and I would still do what I did fighting Kay Lee Ray because I don't like bullies.

Becky I didn't like you using my name for what you did to Kay lee."

Becky nodded.

"I understand."

Tegan smiled.

"now Give ME A HUG."

Becky leaned over and hugged Tegan tight, grateful that her friend had forgiven her, then sat back down.

"now lets see what you brought me." Tegan said, tearing open the shrink wrap and opening the box of candy.

Tegan popped a piece of chocolate into her mouth and smiled as she chewed.

"MMMM! so GOOD! thank you Becky!" Tegan swallowed and then put the lid back on the box.

"ye're welcome Tegan." Becky said humbly.

Tegan looked her in the eye.

I want to ask you something."

Becky looked at her.

"sure. what is it?"

"if you don't mind my asking, what is it you like about Kay lee Ray so much?

I mean, don't take this the wrong way but I fought her and got hurt because of how she was treating you

and you Still seem loyal to her. even after she screwed you over and hurt me."

Becky slowly licked her lips.

"ye know Tegan I've asked myself that. I wish I had an answer for ye. I guess it's somethin' ta do with how she saved me from Mandy.

maybe I feel like I owe her."

Tegan smiled and touched Becky's hand lightly.

"I wish you two the best."

Tegan laughed.

"Becky I'm not your MOM. you can date whoever you want without my approval. honestly I should apologize to you too.

Becky I'm sorry I laid into you so hard on the phone. I was upset."

Becky smiled.

"think nuttin' of it Tegan."

Becky smiled. "should I?"

Tegan smiled back.

"give her time and space first of all. Becky, you more or less sodomized her on live tv.

but if Kay Lee comes around and she wants to try again I say do it."

Becky grinned.

"you're right. thank ye Tegan. I think things are finally lookin' UP."
