Kay Lee has a secret

Becky and Kay Lee Ray arrived at the arena and headed for the locker room.

Kay Lee headed off to catering since her match wasn't for a while.

on her way over she ran into Sonya Deville.

"oh Kay Lee, I'm glad I ran into you. I've been texting you all morning."

Kay Lee crossed her arms.

"hey Sonya. yeah I got the texts."

"well have you considered my offer?" Sonya pressed impatiently.

"maybe." Kay Lee said coyly.

Sonya put her hands on her hips.

"Kay Lee, either you want the match or you don't. but don't waste my time."

"what about Becky? she's not gonna like this." Kay Lee asked.

"don't WORRY about BECKY. worry about YOURSELF. Becky doesn't need a nursemaid."

Sonya said icily.

"it isn't every day you get an offer like this and frankly I think you deserve it.

Kay Lee Ray, you were the most dominant NXT-UK women's champion we have ever had. smackdown NEEDS a star of your caliber."

Sonya smiled and gently touched Kay Lee's hair then let the tips trail through her fingers.

"you know I'LL always have your back. trust me. and besides I'll make sure Becky gets another match. one of her true CALIBER."

Kay Lee smiled. "all right then."

Sonya smiled. "now, what have you decided?"

Kay Lee Ray grinned. "I accept."

"good girl." Sonya said shaking Kay Lee Ray's hand.

"you're going to be one of our top superstars Kay lee."

Sonya walked quickly away and Kay Lee watched her go.

later that evening..

Becky Lynch and Kay Lee Ray had a tag match against Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin while Mandy Rose sat on commentary ready to interfere at a moments notice.

the entire match Kay Lee seemed distracted and her wrestling suffered for it.

eventually while Becky was busy Grappling with Gigi, Mandy climbed up on the apron.

while the ref was trying to get Mandy down, Jacy hit Becky from behind with the tag title.

while Becky was ****, Gigi pinned her, and by the time Kay Lee realized it, it was too late to make the save.

afterward Kay lee helped Becky backstage.

"I'm so sorry Becky!"

Becky rubbed her head as they sat on a bench in the locker room.

"what happened, Kay Lee?" Becky asked groggily.

"Toxic attraction cheated. Jacy hit ye with the title belt. while Mandy distracted the ref."

"why didn't ye stop them?" Becky asked.

Kay Lee Ray licked her lips.

"I didn't realize ye needed my help. I screwed up. I'm so sorry Becky."

Becky sighed.

"it's alright. we'll get 'em next time."

Becky said as the medical staff examined her to make sure she wasn't concussed.

they told Becky she was fine but to take it easy anyway.

Kay Lee left the arena and went to find a motel for the night.
