"You're asking me that now?" You didn't mean to sound hostile, but the tone of your voice came out flat, unimpressed, and irritated. Misa winced when she heard it, you felt bad for putting her on the spot, but if this was going where you think it is...

Misa puts her phone down and sits up. "It's just, when we were kids I used to think that we would-"
"Stop." You cut Misa off, it was going there and you didn't want to hear it, "Misa, you are my father's wife now, what you thought could have been does not matter." The pain in your voice is evident, even as you tired to hide it. All of your emotional turmoil you had experienced, from the night you found Misa having sex with your dad, to the day they got married you had bottled up inside you is beginning to leak out.

"Takeru, I still want to know what you see me as." Misa looks worriedly at you while opening her mouth to continue saying something. If you hadn't felt so upset with the whole situation you would have been slightly amused at the very sight of it; Misa had a habit of pushing her chin out before starting anything important. Then again, right now you were too drained of energy to care about all of that nonsense. "If it doesn't matter you should have no trouble telling me."

"Why do you want to know this now? Out of all the times to ask me, why now?!" You start yelling, your emotions had gotten the best of you, "You want to know, fine I'll tell you! I saw you as my best friend who I wanted to be more then friends with! I saw you as someone I could rely on in toughs times and who could rely on me the same! I saw you as one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen in my life! I saw you as.... someone I loved..." Tears are now falling down your face, it seemed pointless to say all this now, but you couldn't stop yourself.

You barely make out Misa's widening eyes though your tears, she looked shocked by your confession, she hadn't expected you to pour your heart out like that. Misa opened her mouth but nothing came out, you can tell she is trying to come up with something she could say to you, but doesn't know what to say.

"It doesn't matter, that was in the past." You say after wiping away your tears with your sleeve, "I don't see you that way anymore." You turn away from Misa, too hurt to face her.

"Then how-"

"I hate you." You hiss through clenched teeth, cutting Misa off again. That shocked Misa into a deafening silence, but you weren't finished yet. "I see you as someone I hate immensely, I hate that your my step-mother, I hate that I have to listen you and my dad have sex every night, I hate hearing you call his name every single time you fuck, I hate seeing you in his arms everyday, and I hate you because I still love you."
