Ami was the brains of the Sailor Scouts' operation. She was a tactical genius, able to quickly analyze the strengths and weaknesses of any enemy the team faced.

Without her guidance, the rest of the team would fall. If she could be turned against them, they wouldn't stand a chance.

The monster understood this, so when the team finally went their separate ways after their hard fight and brief celebration, it picked its moment and struck.
