"Sorry, what's your name?"

"That is a secret. But you may call me Marie-Jeanne." There is no hint of irony in her voice.

"Alright. Marie-Jeanne, my name is John. Is it alright if I ask you some questions?"

"It is alright. I may give you some answers as well."

"I'm wondering who owns this ship."

"The owner of this ship is Doctor Chen."

"When she said these women were her servants, what does that mean? Does she pay all of you?"

"In a sense, yes. You'll find out soon enough. She has given all of us what we want."

"What did she give you?"

"She saved my life, curing my wounds, and taking me on her ship. In a way, you and I are both alike."

"Will she make me a servant too?"

"I cannot say."

"And the others, if I give them these cards, they'll fuck me?"

"That is how that works."

"This is super mysterious and pretty fucking weird. Are you going to continue giving me vague answers?" You raise your tone as you say this.

"Perhaps." She says, calmly.

"One more thing." You take out one of the cards. She raises her hand.

"I am not a servant, but her equal partner. It will not work on me." She offers you some water. "Drink."

You take a sip of the water she offers. You can feel your strength restoring.

"Thank you, Marie-Jeanne."

"You are welcome. Now go and find yourself a servant. And by the way..."

You look in, as she whispers. "If you want to be with me, you cannot treat me with disrespect. Or anyone on this ship for that matter." She takes out a small blade and presses it against your neck. "If you mistreat any one of these women, I'll cut you from balls to brains. I don't care what the lady thinks of you."

"You mean Dr. Chen?"

She rolls her eyes, and puts away her knife. "Is that really what you should be focussing on?"

"I guess not." She smiles.
