Chapter 8: Dinner Party

The servents bring us dinner and it looks amazing, Bethany did tell me her family was rich (hell, she owns her own personal gym), but it's something that's not really obvious based on her personality. Throughout dinner, I try to make conversation with her parents, but for the most part they seem very uninterested and ignore what I have to say. Things keep going until her dad says "Is this really the best you can do?" Bethany shouts back at him "Dad!" He responds "You're such a beautiful and strong young woman, this is a little boy." I know I'm not really with her, but damn that hurt to hear from her dad. I hang my head and Bethany grabs my shoulder and tells me to go to her room. I walk away as I hear Bethany and her dad shouting at each other.

I go to her room and sit on her bed, really anxious about messing up the whole dinner. I walk around her room and see a lot of sporty posters and trophies.
