The rest of the day went on a little slower than Rachel would like but nothing happened, thankfully. She'd talked to her friends in the few classes she had with them and, when the school bell rang, she booked it home.

She didn't know why she was in a rush. Home usually wasn't much better than school but she didn't care. Right now, she just wanted her bed. Besides, the party was supposed to be going on today. That had to be good.

As Rachel walked up to her front door, she felt a dull pain in her stomach. She grabbed it for a second, holding her belly before it faded. Must've been something she ate. When she was all good again, she opened the front door to reveal the living room behind it.

There were decorations along the walls with things like "18" and "Happy Birthday" on them. The couch was gone and the chairs had been pushed to the side, leaving the floor open. There was music playing and something good smelled like it was cooking. Before she could say anything, her mother walked around the corner from the kitchen with a big smile on her face.

"Happy Birthday, dear!" She rushed into Rachel and gave her a big hug, squeezing her tightly. Before Rachel accidentally suffocated, Susan pulled back and kissed her daughter's cheek. "Go take a shower while I finish in the kitchen. Then we'll celebrate."

Rachel nodded to her mother and turned down the hallway, heading towards her room to grab a change of clothes. On her way back to the bathroom, she ran into Victoria, who was in the middle of hurrying to the bathroom with a change of clothes in her hand. Rachel glared at Victoria as soon as the older girl made eye contact with her.

"What are you doing?"

Victoria stood up straight, putting a hand on her hip. She made eye contact with Rachel and spoke like she didn't do anything wrong. "I'm getting in the shower. What's it look like I'm doing?"

"You had all day to take a shower. I take mine when I get home from school." Victoria did this almost everytime. She was so distracted on her phone that she didn't take a shower until she heard Rachel walk into the house. That's usually when she realizes what time it is and she rushes to take a shower. Then Rachel gets screwed out of hot water and is lucky if it's even still warm.

This was the first time Rachel caught Victoria before she actually made it to the shower. So, Victoria just grinned devilishly at her sister. "We could both take a shower. Save water, you know?"

Rachel's eyes went wide. Her sister had never offered something like that before. Which made Rachel immediately suspicious. This had to be a prank or something. A trick. And besides that, Rachel wasn't a lesbian and, as far as Rachel knew, neither was Victoria.
