Becoming aware of the time, John groaned and made the gesture that summoned the main menu of the system.

Slut shifted to a kneeling position to watch as he prepared to log out.

"Master," she began softly, and he paused.

She nodded once. "For users, too? Log back into whatever state you logged out of?"

"Yes, sure. I have to go. I'll be back." He selected the option to log out.

"I'll miss you." her voice rang in his ears even as the world spun and John regained awareness. He was sitting in the FSR chair in his basement.
