Megan talks with the nurse

“Hey, Nurse Riley,” Megan said. “Our baby needs a diaper change.”

“What? Already?” Nurse Riley said as she stood up to her feet.

“I think we should kind of talk about this actually,” Megan said. “You see, Alexa came to me in confidence and told me a lot of things that she didn’t want you to know.”

“Oh?” Nurse Riley said.

“Yeah, apparently Alexa has been having bladder problems a lot more than we’ve realized. This is just the first time she has been caught. And even further, Alexa told me you wouldn’t dare change her in front of a classroom full of people or in a public setting. She really thinks that she’ll get privacy during her diaper changes. But I don’t think we should indulge in this. I think we need to show Alexa that we’re going to treat her just like the baby she is and change her in front of everyone no matter who is watching.”

“Oh my,” Nurse Riley said. “I can certainly do that.”

“Oh, and she doesn’t think that you would tell her mom about it. But I think her mom needs to know about this,” Megan said. “And I think we need to have Alexa in diapers 24/7. And then we can also have potty training sessions. Just bring the potty to the class she’s in so she can try to use it instead of her diaper.”

“In front of the whole class?” Nurse Riley said, a smile forming on her face. “Oh my… I can certainly do that.”

“Let’s call her mom first,” Megan said.

“I think you’re right,” Nurse Riley said as she dialed Alexa’s mom’s phone number.
