Through the Bro Code

As fast as they could without throwing either body to the floor, Tobias had their female body jump back in bed, as he scrambled to the door. He opened the door to find Pat with a confused look on his face.

“Who was that I heard in the room with you?”

Tobias had know Pat for a while now, being roommates since freshman year. They were both in that vague kinda average attractiveness group, with Tobias’s height and ‘size’ being his only selling points, though he’d learned quickly to not bring the later up after trying to hit on a girl drunk and getting a good slap across the face.

Pat was a few inches shorter, about 5’9-5’10ish, and was basically the most standard 20 year old white boy you could imagine. That said, they both managed to have some luck with the ladies, and Tobias hoped he could appeal to Pat being a ‘Bro’ to avoid having to explain whatever the Hell is going on.

“Hey Pat. Sorry man, I forgot to tell you Ronnie came over. Could you maybe give us some alone time?”

“Hell yeah, man! Weird she sounded different. Eh whatever. And yeah I’ll go do work in the library”

He gives him a fist bump and as he heads out says “Bye Veronica! Have fun!” Panicking, Tobias calls out, intentionally as their female self in a bad impression “haha yeah see ya later Pat!” Their roommates gives a strange look before telling Tobias “I swear if you give me a cold I’m kicking your ass” with a laugh as he heads out.

Veronica, or Ronnie to him, has been Tobias’s girlfriend for a few months now, and he actually really likes her and thinks he has a real future with her. She’s his age and goes to the same college, actually living in the same dorm the floor above, since each floor alternates gender. Now that he thinks about it, he should probably talk to her about this. After all, they need clothes for his…herself. And also it would be good talking to someone else before having another existential crisis. Also he just likes talking to his girlfriend. That probably should have been the first one.
