Ignore her sister

Miko tries not to make eye contact with Rika as she enters the bathroom. Rika is brushing her teeth, but as soon as she sees Miko she jumps in excitement and spits her toothoaste out.

"Onee-chan, you're up early!"

Miko sighs, knowing that a conversation was inevitable.

"Maybe you're just really late."

Rika perks up,

"Oh crap! Ah, see you later onee-chan!"

Rika jumps forward and presses a kiss to Miko's cheek, and bolts away.

Miko rubs at the damp spot on her face, frowning.

Rika had been watching too much anime lately, and even if her parents were happy that at least one daughter was interested in their heritage, Miko thought it was tacky.

She closed the bathroom door and locked it, pulling her nightgown up to inspect the damage.
