A week alone to my thoughts

I got my first period the morning after, just great I thought to myself. Maybe if I had this two days ago I wouldn't be in this stupid mess. Oh well, what can a girl do? At least I'm not pregnant after all of this...Wait, I can get pregnant! Fuck, shit! I don't wanna get pregnant, I need to get out of this body right fucking now! I looked in my mirror and watched my body, twisting and turning it. I'm fucking sexy and I would look killer if I were pregnant. I shook my head and tried to get these thoughts out of my mind, but it was hard.

"That's it, I need to do something to get my mind off things," I told myself. I needed to do something about this and maybe I needed to consult with my 'partners', especially considering that these feelings and situation is completely new to me. They weren't coming in to brief me in five days, so I guess I have a lot of free time on my hand. Wait a fucking minute, Weathers is gone for a week, this gives me free access to his house! I can plant all the bugs I need and maybe find some clues to his illegal activities.

I made preparations for tonight, I was going in during the cover of darkness. Getting inside the house was a simple task, I'm a great agent after all. I went through room after room and planted the bugs, it was a simple mission. The last stop was his office, in here I was hoping to find something to help me figure out how to put him away. I opened every drawer, read every file and folder. Nothing illegal or out of place. His computer was gone with him so I couldn't look in there. I was careful not to mess things up, he couldn't know someone was here. I did find one piece of paper which piqued my interest. It was the documents about the ingredient he used to make both of us 'relaxed' the other day!

Alright let's see here...bla bla bla, medical jumbo... makes the average person more at ease and relaxed, helps in new situations, etc., etc. Wait, it's a sort of hormone, however not estrogen or testosterone. Helps the person to be more at ease with themself connected to their gender. Well, that explains all the enhanced female emotions I've felt lately. No wait there's more, it also works as a 'hormone binder'? What does that even mean? I scrolled to the last page of the documents. Hormones are the biggest reason for partners to connect, people with matching hormones have a much bigger success rate in long-term relationships. The hormone binder activates whenever two people with matching hormones make contact with each other. The reaction is instantaneous and can be felt like a rushing heat throughout the body. If the two persons hormones do not match, the reaction will not take place. Meaning if a reaction is confirmed, those two people will more than likely be a perfect couple and a great match for long-term relationships. Once the process is in motion, the connection between them will accelerate at a much faster speed than normal couples. We like to call it love at first sight.'

"Oh my fucking God," I whispered to myself. "This explains a lot of things. And makes things that much more complicated." I retreated to my house and grabbed myself a drink.

"This situation is bad, really fucking bad. Not only am I apparently falling in love with my target, but it's also science, which means I can't argue against it! Fucking hell. I can't deal with this right now. I need to sleep," I said to myself, trying to find excuses for me not to think about it anymore.
