Let it drop, the house is a mess

With a chuckle I tossed the device to Etna, my shoulders shrugging as I spoke, "Eh, I think I'll save that for when I really need it..." Laharla looked like she was just about to relax but my grin made her think otherwise, her scarf trembling a bit in fear as I finished my thought, "Given the spell on her, I think I've got more than enough for a punishment." Etna looked pleased while Laharla was less than happy, her brow sweating as she anticipated something torturous to come from my mouth next.

However, I liked being surprising so I said, "but we can do that later. Let's go around the house and straighten up what Flonne rummage through...I bet it looks like a hurricane went through my house." Sure enough when we finally got down to it, it looked like a hurricane and a tornado had a bastard baby and let it run through my house unattended. Things were in different places, even different rooms than where I had originally put them...it was quite simply nuts. So after we put Flonne on the bed in my room to let her recover we started on the job, preparing for the hours it would take to straighten everything up.

Laharla and Etna did their best, both of them trying to outshine the other not only for my but for themselves, Etna moving like the speedy little demon that she was while Laharla used her scarf to it's fullest advantage, reaching and placing things she wouldn't normally be able to and otherwise having a third extendable arm at her disposal. However, unlike their earlier battle this fight seemed much more low key, their pride still present but not on the line with their miniature battle.

With those two at work and me doing the same the house was clean in no time, all traces of the battle gone from sight as we finished out work. With a sigh I wiped my brow and grinned at the two demons, their red eyes glimmering with desire as I spoke, "Not bad, didn't take nearly as long as I thought." Their stares were unwavering as they piped up, Etna the first to speak as she said, "Thank's John, we tried extra hard just for you." Laharla jumped in, her eyebrow raised with interest now as she put in her two cents, "we really put some effort into it...I think we need some sort of reward for that at least..."
