Exactly what Annabel wanted the extra money for.

There before you were the four of them dressed up in lingerie you didn't know could exist in this world. They all were kneeled in front of the fire place with lusty eyes staring right back at you. You looked a little closer to notice the lingerie was all the same except for the color. The lingerie was a see through bra and even though you couldn't quite tell you suspected their panties were see through as well. Yvette wore white, Annabel wore purple, Jane wore blue, and Rene wore black. It just now hit you that this was the first time you'd seen underwear in any form in this world. Did it exist just for sexual needs you wondered. That thought quickly popped out of your head and you found yourself in a dilemma.

"Something is wrong" Yvette stated as much as asked. You let out a sigh and resigned yourself to tell what you'd learned from Nadine, what you'd learned from Remi, and finally what you saw as you walked back to The Gem. The group sat patiently as you told your story.

"Busy few hours" Annabel commented when you were done. All you could do was grunt as a confirmation.

"Well ladies, as much as we all wanted to show off for John, we find ourselves in a situation where we have to put our desires aside for now and do what we know needs to be done" Annabel stated to the group. Everyone pouted a little but nodded their head in agreement.

"Oh...I should probably let Nadine know we're leaving early" you say pulling out the puck like device she had given you. As you pulled it out of your pocket a folded up paper fell out as well. Realizing that wasn't there before you looked at it and unfolded a map of the continent and a smaller piece of paper was also wrapped up inside. It was a note so you read it out loud:

I know our conversation was a bit heavy, but I did want to give you a gift. Surrounding this note is a map of the current continent. To the south you will notice an X on a bluff near a lake and river. The region is mostly uninhabited by people, but does have some nasty Dinos nearby so be on your guard. Additionally it is near the incursion of Lizard people so be on alert for their patrols. I think the risk is worth what you will find in that bluff.

"Well...might be a good place to get rid of whoever this is that is following me" you suggest.

"Wow...it's really happening isn't it" Rene says lightly "I'm not even a full day with you and I'm already thrown into adventure" she says laughing to herself.

"I wasn't expecting anything this fast" you admit "if you wanted to stay here we could leave you some gold to set yourself up quite nicely" you offer.

"I already told you I'm not staying here, so if you're leaving I'm leaving with you" she says with a huff. "Besides...if you think we bought these outfits without putting them to use you have another thing coming" she says smiling. You just raise your eyebrow a bit at her statement. "Fine...if you think we bought these outfits with the money we borrowed from you without putting them to use you have another thing coming" she says with an even bigger smile. Earning laughter from everyone.

"Ok ok" you say holding your hands up. "Not like I'm not tempted to find out what you all had planned for me as it is" you joke.

"Oh yah...Nadine" you say holding up the communication device and activating the spell you'd be able to talk to her with. You push the button and you don't hear anything at first besides a terrible clatter and some very faint cursing.

"John is that you, is everything alright...I dropped my device...can you hear me ok" you hear Nadine clearly finally.

"Uh yes Nadine, but I have some bad news" you warn.

"You know what...just a second" you hear her say. You look at the others a little confused.

*BAMF*

Suddenly Nadine appears right in front of you eliciting a yelp of surprise from everyone including you. You hold your hands up to the girls signaling everything is ok when you notice their defensive postures.

"You need to warn me when you're going to do that" you say with your heart beating a bit faster.

"Where's the fun in that" Nadine casually responds. Nadine looks around the room and at each of the women briefly before settling back to you.

"Was the bad news that you were short a scantily clad woman for some fun sex" she asks "because if so I have some good news for you" she jokes.

"Ok, I like her" Annabel states casually earning giggles from the rest. You chuckle yourself a little.

"No I'm afraid we are leaving...today" you say with a little bit of sadness in your voice.

"They've already gotten here I take it" Nadine asks you.

"Yes...who ever they are" you answer.

"I still have so much to teach you though" Nadine says dejectedly.

"I know, I was looking forward to learning it" you reply with a frown.

"DAMMIT" Nadine suddenly yells. You aren't quite sure why she responded in this manner to the situation, but you let her think to herself as she is clearly doing that now. Nadine's head hangs low and you hear the familiar sound of light whimpering.

"Nadine...are...are you ok" you ask her with concern in your voice.

"I don't know if I'm strong enough" she responds. You look at the others in the room and beside Annabel they look as confused as you are. Looking at Annabel you seek a little guidance. She just mimics a hug and nods her head at Nadine. Can't argue with a little physical comfort so you quickly close the gap and pull Nadine into your arms. Almost immediately she wraps her arms around you and shoves her face into your chest.

"I don't understand what's going on right now, but you can take as much time as you want. I'm not going anywhere yet" you say as soothingly as you can. Several minutes pass and you look up to Annabel again for guidance, but she just motions you to wait a bit longer. After another minute Nadine breaks from the hug and wipes away a tear.

"I've made a decision" she says with as much confidence as she can.
