Chapter 166 by bobbobbobthethir
Who is it?
Rachel, because you’ve always secretly wanted her
“It’s got to be one of the Zeta girls,” Val says.
“Uh… not quite,” you answer.
“Oh, so one of the Theta girls then,” Mars says, glancing over at their spot in the stands.
“Nope, not one of them either,” you say. “I was thinking of… Rachel.”
Mars double-takes and Val shoots her a concerned look.
“Really?” Val says, looking down at the dark-haired girl. “All the girls in this stadium, and that’s who you choose?”
“Look, I just think she’s probably a little down after everything that’s happened recently,” you say. “I’m not necessarily going to try anything with her. But you know, attention from a guy might cheer her up. I’m trying to do a good thing here. Also, she’s cute.”
“Ah, so you want to be her rebound guy,” Mars says, rolling her eyes.
Teasingly, you reply: “What’s the matter? Jealous?”
“Uh… no,” Mars snips back at you. “I know you sided with her over Griffin. Meaning, you’re cool with her thinking that Griffin cheated on her with me. Now, you want me to help you get with her. That’s a bit twisted, if you ask me.”
“Oh. Yeah. About that,” you say, panicking inside. But this can be salvaged. You just have to find the right words. “Griffin was being a real dick towards Rachel. Like, grade A asshole. I didn’t believe anything that he was saying. Plus, he was abusive, he was straight up trying to hurt her! So while I didn’t love what Rachel was saying about you… I had to take somebody’s side. It had to be Rachel’s, but that doesn’t mean I think that she got everything right.”
“Yeah, because she got an awful lot wrong,” Mars says, crossing her arms. “Still. I guess if he was trying to hurt her…”
She sits back, and a moment passes between the two of you. You can tell she’s not quite happy with you, but at least she doesn’t seem angry at you.
“You cool with Alex?” Val asks, giving her friend a concerned look.
“Yeah,” Mars nods. “Yeah, I just need a second to catch myself.”
“Okay,” Val says, rubbing Mars’ shoulder. She looks over at you. “And you. You’re sure that Rachel’s the gal for tonight?”
“She is, but only if it isn’t going to give Mars too much trouble,” you say, looking over at her with concern. “I can pick someone else too, it’s just…”
“I’ll do it,” Mars sighs. “I’ll help you. Doesn’t mean I’m going to like it, but whatever. Guys have to make stupid mistakes to learn from them, right?”
“Oh, you know, I was secretly hoping you’d say that,” Val smiles. “Because the moment Alex mentioned Rachel, I had the best idea for what we could do.”
Mars gives Val a questioning glance, and the two girls put their heads together, quietly whispering things to each other. Mars eventually cracks a smile and says: “Sure. I’d like to see her get pissy.”
The first half of the game sees Stonewall smashing Schmarvard’s team into the ground. The home team’s leading 35-20. As the players slink off the court, the three of you get out of your seats and split up, ready to execute Val’s plan. You head over to where Rachel’s sitting, squeezing between the seats to get to her. Rachel’s wearing a cute black bubble dress that hugs her figure tightly tonight. With her dark hair done up and her make up all perfect, she really is a catch. You’re determined to have her tonight.
“Hey Rachel, didn’t expect to find you sitting here alone,” you say, giving her a friendly wave as you get close.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Rachel asks, giving you a small smile and a wave back hello.
“Oh, nothing much. I just figured a girl as popular and pretty as you would have a guy around already,” you shrug. “You know, move on from the last guy and all.”
“I just broke up with Griffin,” Rachel laughs, though the laugh itself sounds a bit **** to you. “Give me some time! I can be alone for a day or two…”
“Well, apparently he can’t,” you say.
“What do you mean?” Rachel asks, a note of concern creeping into her voice.
“Hate to break it to you, but Griffin’s sitting over there,” you say.
But you didn’t need to point him out. Rachel already knew where Griffin was sitting, and she instantly looks over there, noticing her ex getting all chummy with Mars. The two of them are sharing a chair, Mars comfy on Griffin’s lap, and Griffin has an arm around her. He’s laughing, she’s laughing, and now Rachel’s fuming.
“That bastard!” she seethes. She points at the two of them. “Can you believe the nerve of him? I knew he was cheating! I knew it!”
“He’s just the absolute worst, isn’t he,” you agree. “I don’t know why you ended up with him. You deserve better.”
“I deserve better,” she nods, and then she pauses, looking you over. Yeah. That’s right. You’re better.
“So…” you say, drawing out the word as you check her out, making it clear that you’re interested. “How’ve you been enjoying the game?”
“Nice to see the home team winning,” Rachel says. “At least something’s going right.”
“You bet,” you laugh. “But still. Feels wrong that Griffin’s getting away with this.”
“Fuck, what I would give to wipe that smirk off his face,” Rachel agrees, staring at Griffin again. You see the way her fingers clench tightly into a fist. “I just want him to hurt. Do you know what I mean? I hate how he’s so happy with her.”
You stare at Mars and Griffin, silently begging Valentine to get going, because this would be the right moment to… abruptly, you see the crowd around you murmur excitedly. It’s the kiss cam, up on the jumbotron, and it’s zooming in on you and Rachel. Jackpot.
“Oh shit,” you mutter, glancing at the camera, and then back at Rachel. Her eyes widen. “They must be watching us. You want to get back at him?”
“Let’s show him up,” Rachel smiles coldly.
She leans into you and kisses you hard, the anger in her lips a burning warmth that spreads through your bodies. You hold Rachel tight and kiss her back, the two of you battling with tongues for dominance. You feel the frustration in the way that she kisses you, so **** to show Griffin that she’s moved on and that she’s over him. She wants him to know that you’re way better than he could ever be. She wants to show him that she is that much hotter and prettier and better than Mars. All of these thoughts that swirl through your head must be going through hers too, and you feel the way she clings to you, the passion with which her tongue stabs into your mouth. You push back, a hand of yours placed on the small of her back, and with a nudge you have her moaning up and into you, her tits pressed tight against your chest. You kiss her harder, and she moans, the two of you all over each other.
You break away for air a moment later, the two of you gasping. The camera has panned away, and you see Griffin staring at the two of you, red in the face. Angry? Embarrassed? All you know is that Rachel has a self-satisfied smirk on her face.
“That sure showed him,” she says, continuing to lean against your chest.
“You got that right. Hey, you want to come sit with me for the next half of the game?” you ask. “There was an empty seat by me that you could take.” You conveniently leave out the fact that Mars used to have that seat.
“I could use the change of scenery,” Rachel smiles, and the two of you head over to your spot in the stands.
The game closes out as you expect. Stonewall wins with a twenty point lead. You and Rachel cheer as the team does a victory lap around the court. The nubile freshman girl has spent most the second half of the game leaning against your shoulder, and you managed to sneak an arm around her waist, the two of you looking properly couple-like for all those glances that Griffin and Mars threw at you.
If you didn’t know any better, you would actually say that Mars was the one jealous of you, with all the looks that she’s been giving you. But instead, as Mars glances your way again, you nuzzle Rachel on top of her head and say: “Want to show Griffin that you’re really over him?”
“Obviously I do,” she says, glancing up at you.
She’s daring you to make the move, and so you smile down at her, squeezing her ass.
“Tell me what you want, and I’ll give it to you,” you say. “My world is your oyster.”
