Affected by the call, you open a can of beer and call Jenny and tell her about Tom.

"I don't know Max... She'll be able to respond tomorrow..."

"Just get her phone and text him that you can't talk now, there is no point in waiting one more day."

"So, she couldn't answer his call, but did after he called you?"

"It's not that deep."

"It's just one day..."

"Fine... So what should I tell him?"

"That she told me she'll talk tomorrow."

"So she can't answer him but she can when you call?"

"Oh, for God's sake, it's not that big of a deal. I'll give him a call, don't worry."

You let Jenny call Tom and in the meantime, you decide to check the website. You are surprised at how much activity there is, and at the huge volume of information available. Hundreds of books and research materials that will undoubtedly take a long time to read. You do find the rules that Edward promised, and start reading.

There are some simple rules like 'Don't kill innocent people' and 'Don't reveal yourself in public', but they are usually followed by a lengthy explanation with parts that send you from one place to another. It feels like you'll need to get a lawyer to be able to understand all this.

You get interrupted by a message from Tom thanking you for your help. Grateful that Jenny managed to fix the problem you decide to buy her a gift. Maybe a dress for the graduation party would be a good idea since it will be as much of a gift for you as it is for her. After all, who doesn't like watching their girlfriend wear something nice?

You make a note so you remember searching for one and then return to reading. Continuing reading you lose track of time as you concentrate on the information and you freak out when you realize that night has silently arrived.

You hurry and call Jenny.

"Why didn't you come and get me? We are going to be late!"

"I'm already here, you're not invited..."

"What? Why?"

"Remember how they made a big fuss about me being there when you transformed?"

"Oh..."

"Yeah, since you transformed them against their will, you never know how they will react when they spot you so neither of you can be here."

"But I didn't attack you..."

"These are the rules. Edward isn't even at the house and you can't give him any more reasons to complain, after what happened."

"But what if you get injured... I could protect you..."

"Oww, my knight in shining armor... don't worry, there are a lot of people here. And I'm sure Kevin can solve any problems that might appear."

"Make sure you call me when things are over.."

"I will, got to go, it seems people are getting ready. Talk to you after is all over."

"Ok, good luck!"

You return to reading and search for more information about the upcoming hunt. There is a lot of material to go through, but there is a big problem that you spot right at the start.

The hunt starts by transforming into a werewolf. The whole pack. Since you really suck at controlling the transformation, you either train and become good or you'll be the butt of the joke when the time comes.

It's more surprising since it seems that it should be easy for a Prime to be able to do it. Sure you have no problem losing your mind but your body just doesn't listen when you want to change form.
