Vehicular Warzone, part 4: Stay awhile and listen

Blair moves her right hand to caress the top of Caesar's head. "Be a good boy and keep an eye out for me with Fuxipo and the others." Fuxipo looked to Caesar then to her men. "All right, you heard the lady. Follow me, I know of a good vantage point we can keep watch from." He let out a soft bark, nuzzling Blair's hand before following Fuxipo and her men to a pile of parts nearby. Blair focused her attention on Klalkonk and Dropscrap. 'Looks like I get to have all the fun. Hopefully I will get something useful from this.'

Blair walked in between where Klalkonk and Dropscrap were sitting. Their bodies were covered in evidence from their recent fight. She felt a smirk spread across her lips. Although she didn't know for sure if this would be so, she felt like she was their judge, jury, and executioner. 'Hmm, so this is what absolute power over others' lives feels like? Mm, I think I like it.' She felt a wonderful tingle throughout her body with that thought. She glanced over at Klalkonk. "So, what was this all about?"

Klalkonk cleared his throat before spitting out a loogie away from Blair. "That ungrateful piece of scrap over here," He said while gesturing to Dropscrap. "wasn't willing to do the job I created her for." Blair nodded slightly. "That was to kill Fuxipo, right?" He nodded slightly. "That's right." He glanced over to Fuxipo and her men. "Not that that is important anymore." His eyes turned then attention back to Blair. "I don't know where you plan to take her, but anywhere that isn't here is music to my ears."

Blair watched Klalkonk for a moment. "You're more impressive than I thought. You were listening to my conversation with Fuxipo while in the middle of your fight with Dropscrap." Klalkonk smirked. "Yes, yes. A rather simple matter for one of my intellect." He said while dismissively waving his left hand. "If my body were as nimble as my mind, I wouldn't had needed to make Dropscrap at all." Dropscrap's systems appeared to power up slightly before an oddly delicate feminine voice emitted from her metallic lips. "If your body were as nimble as your mind, you would've been bedridden your whole life, creator."

Klalkonk's cheeks reddened with embarrassment before turning even more red with anger. "What was that you ungrateful piece of scrap!?" Dropscrap was about to reply, but Blair started to laugh. Klalkonk and Dropscrap turned to look at Blair. Blair smirked. "You two... This reminds me of the fights I used to have with my piece of shit dad." That seemed to confuse them both. She looked to Dropscrap. "So, why did you decide against killing Fuxipo?" Dropscrap looked down slightly before looking to Klalkonk. "Killing her was unnecessary."

Klalkonk growled. "Killing her was necessary! Because I sa..." Before he could finish speaking Blair interrupted him. "Just because you said so is not a good reason. You haven't earned enough respect with her for that." Dropscrap smiled while Klalkonk grumbled. Blair gestured for Dropscrap to continue. A mere second later, Dropscrap continued to speak. "It was unnecessary because this place is bigger than either of them needs." Blair tilted her head slightly. "For now, sure. Do you know what he was planning to do with this area?"

Dropscrap looked to Klalkonk. "Build others like me with the objective of enslaving others." Klalkonk's eyes widened. "Don't tell her that you fool!" Blair brought her left hand's pointer finger to Klalkonk's lips. "If you want to continue to live, you'd best not interrupt her again." Klalkonk swallowed before lowering his head slightly. Dropscrap blinked several times. "He loves to tinker, control, and. As he put it, get fucked by handsome men." Klalkonk's cheeks reddened. "Can you blame me? What man doesn't like to have control in his relationships?"

Blair started to chuckle again. "You know what? I can respect that, Klalkonk." Klalkonk grinned. "See you ungrateful piece of scrap? Blair gets it." Dropscrap had a look of confusion upon her face. Blair smiled. "I can respect that you aimed high, but you still failed." Klalkonk looked down slightly. "Only because that ungrateful piece of scrap turned on me." Dropscrap glared at him. Blair gently pat Klalkonk's head. "Throwing her under the bus won't help you here." That was when the quest objective to listen to Klalkonk scratched itself off.

Blair looked to Dropscrap. "Tell me, what do you want?" Dropscrap looked to Klalkonk then down slightly. "I, I want to explore. There is so much more out there than this. Won't you allow me to do this, Blair?" This is when the second section of Blair's quest scratched itself off, turning itself in before a new quest popped up.

Blair's eyes widened slightly upon seeing this. 'A minimum reward? That's new.' It was clear that she could do what she wanted with them, but what should she do? Klalkonk could be a powerful minion, but his experiments could be turned against her in the future. Dropscrap would clearly be loyal from here on out, but would she be willing to fight for Blair?
