Scratch

Knowing that Scratch had a cache of dynamite stored in her wrecking ball, it seemed safer to stop her than her partner in crime. With a spin and a toss, Texas sent her lasso flying, years of experience with the rope allowing her to hit her moving target, landing the loop of the lasso right over the fleeing hyena, and pulling it tight. With a firm tug, Scratch was stopped in her tracks, the large outlaw letting out a shocked and irritated bark as she struggled against her binds.

"Oi! Sniff! Send that mangy mutt over here!" Scratch called to her partner, Texas turning to see Sniff getting into her armoured steamroller. Seeing her ally trapped, Sniff gave a series of cackles and barks to Scraps, the feral hyena listening intently to its master, before sprinting off towards Scratch. Texas knew these two well enough to know that Scraps was well trained and had sharp teeth; his bite would make short work of that lasso unless Texas stopped him, and quickly.

But then there was the roaring sound of the Steamroller trying to start. A steam powered engine wouldn't be quick to start, and if Texas was fast enough, she might be able to intercept Sniff before the outlaw got her implement of crushing up and running. Going after Sniff would allow Scraps to free Scratch, but intercepting Scraps would give Sniff the time she needed to start the steamroller. This wasn't going to be an easy choice.
