Things with Lavender had become strained, he loved feeling wanted and desirable but he also couldnt stand to be around her anymore. She was just too much, too needy, too talkative, too loud and her jealousy of Hermoine was getting old fast. He was a bit of a coward he knew, but he had to put an end to things. If he missed out on some adventure with Harry and Hermoine because of hernhe would never forgive himself. As much as he tried to hide it, his status as one of the 3 most legendary students at Hogwarts right now was something that he had a lot of pride over.

Lavender came running up to him in the halls and pulled him into an empty classroom. Before he could say anything she put her finger to his lips and told him she had something important to tell him. " I can feel you pushing me away won won and im not upset but im also not willing to lose you, i realize that i havent been keeping you happy and i found this potion in a banned book and it says it will help me keep you happy, it lasts about a week but after its done if you still arent happy we should break up." She gave him a devilish smirk and put up a pink potion to her lips "i dont think well have to worry about that though," and she drunk it all down.
