To the pool?

“Hey, Nessa,” Britney said. “How about we take in the nice weather and head to the pool. I hear Jason’s going to be there.”

Vanessa smirked. “Oh yeah? Well then we have to go. Right, Lauren?”

Lauren’s eyes widened. Jason was one of the hottest guys in their neighborhood. Lauren often attempted to flirt with him and get his attention. All of the girls liked him. And even some of the boys liked him. “Great, you can go to the pool,” Lauren said. “Just take me home.”

“Don’t be a stinker,” Vanessa said. “Besides, you won’t even have to swim.”

“Fine, I’ll go with you,” Lauren said.

“It was never a debate,” Vanessa said. “Come on, let’s go.”

Lauren blushed as the others snickered as Vanessa pulled her along out of the mall and to the car.
