Things slowly changed in Sean and Chloe's relationship, going from husband and wife to best friends. Sean had even spent a few nights in the spare room, his room, since most of his clothes were there.
Sean was able to relax about the gay stuff as Chloe never brought it up. They had even gone on a few dates. Friend dates as Chloe called them. It gave Sean a chance to practice staying soft around Chloe without telling her. He didn't want to give her any more reason to make things more difficult, this was already more than what he planned for.

Just then Chloe got a text. "Shoot he's almost here and I haven't done my make up, can you please stall him bestie. I will tell you all about our date when I get back." She asked with a soft smile.
Sean froze, he didn't know how to respond he hadn't pretended to be gay yet in-front of anyone else. Now it's going to be her date. "Su..sure, bestie"
"Thanks." And with that Chloe walked into her bathroom leaving Sean standing at the door to the bedroom.
