Tldr.
A letter to Mr. Blue
The following letter has been found after extensive archeological research in the congressional library of the last US president. It was preserved remarkably well, being locked in a vacuum sealed primitively designed container of sorts.
A letter to Mr. Blue
We’re gone. We had enough. We left for places anywhere but here, may it be in Spain, Switzerland or Austria. From there on, we plan to move to lands even further away, where war has no hold on.
But as the war is not over yet for you, let me give you my advice, as you have accepted and acted upon before.
The Russians know the war is over, but don’t want to admit it. They are **** and should be reckoned with in that way. More dangerous than ever.
We have seen the news. Russian civilians are starting to rebel against the war. They want a revolution, something their so-called leader has done anything in his power to prevent. I guess he even started this war as a rallying cry to unite them. Against a common enemy, anyone except himself.
The Russian armies can no longer retreat. All they can do, is go forward. Defeat the allied forces and then consolidate their power.
In the north, the battle at the Rhine will soon start. The influx of your fellow Americans is too great a threat to ignore. They have to act before all your forces are at the front lines. They soon will bomb the entry (Antwerp) or exit harbors (South-East England), even nuke them if needed to disrupt the waves of reinforcements. Köln will be the focal point of their efforts, all their troop movements have been leading there, no doubt you have seen so too. From there it seems they will want to cross the Rhine.
It seems, I say. They will make the effort at least, but they are hoping for more. The Russians at the Black Forest have been regrouping for a while now. I expect them to move soon. The Russians in the south have three options.
- Go north-west, avoid the Black Forest, and go via Karlsruhe over the Rhine into France. But that would leave their south flank wide open and they would be pressed against a considerable **** of the French, still fresh, and now well trained, and still having to cross the Rhine.
- Go through the Black Forest, an unhospitable terrain, full of battle hardened German soldiers, Flemish militia that have been in the war since the start, freshly paradropped US special forces, ANZAC, and every leftover troops from the former east-bloc countries.
- Go south of the Black Forest, leave their northern flank open, hope the Swiss wouldn’t offer too much resistance, and cross the Rhine around Koblenz, then go up against the French via the south of the Rhine around the area of Bazel. If they win, they could encircle then the allied troops at the north and crush them between their two giant armies.
My guess is they will choose option 3.
If their progress is halted at that area, the Russians in the north will give hell, but in the end they will have to retreat to avoid outflanking. If they do, their retreat will be covered by bombarding Köln on their way out, in such a way, the allied troops will have to go around, if there are any left. With other words, they will probably nuke it.
If the Russian northern army retreats, so will the Russian southern army do. They will try to remerge and flee north, via Denmark, Sweden, Finland back to Russia.
By then the Russian revolution will be in full swing. Their so-called leader will admit no defeat. He will want to curse his own citizens as traitors. Deserving to die, not by his hands, but by his enemies’ hands. He will unleash his nuclear arsenal. The allies will have no other choice but to do the same.
My advice to you, don’t go near major cities in the EU mainland. Nor in the UK, nor in the US. The Russian armies will run first, disperse then and never return to their homeland, but remain a plague on this land for a long time. Keep your families safe, your friends’ families safe by ordering them to flee the major cities in your country.
And learn them to hunt for food.
And preserve your language.
Kara's order.
