The Job Interview

.Lauren got off of the bus and started walking towards the address she was told to go to, it was apparently an office job at a new company that was just starting out.

When Lauren arrived outside of the building it looked a little worn down, not exactly what she was expecting but she just shrugged it off and walked inside.

She sees a desk with a woman who must be the receptionist, she walks up to the woman with a smile and says “I have an interview with Mr. Smith.”

“Oh hello, you must be Lauren, Mr. Smith is waiting for you upstairs in his office.”

Lauren nods and walks upstairs before stopping outside of a room that had Mr. Smith on the door, she knocks on the door and is told to come inside.

“Ah, you must be Lauren. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Says the man sitting at the desk.

“Are you Mr. Smith?” Lauren asks.

“Oh please call me John, anyway are you ready for your interview?”

“Yeah, I guess I am.” Lauren replies

“Okay, well come with me to the interview room please.” John says with a smile before standing up and leading Lauren towards another room. “Please, come inside.” John says.
